How do you use tarot cards?

I have a deck of tarot cards but i don't really understand how to use them. The book doesn't explain it very well.

How do you use tarot cards?
Do you intend to use your deck for card games or for divination? Tarot cards may be used for both game playing and for divination. Game playing is the original purpose of Tarot. Tarot was made to play a trick taking card game similar to Spades or Bridge. Tarot games are still played today mainly in Europe. I myself play actual card games with a Tarot deck. The use of Tarot cards for card reading did not begin until long after the appearance of the first Tarot cards. Since card reading is not the original purpose of Tarot, there can be no right or wrong way to read them. If your book does not explain it well enough for you, then the answer is to find a book or some other source that will work for you. I will give you sources for both Tarot divination and Tarot card games.
Reply:You really would have to read a book about it. A better book. There are different layouts that you can follow that have different meanings for the different locations in the layout where certain cards would infer different information depending on when they are drawn. There is entirely too much to share here.

At the end of the day there is no set way to read cards - everyone does it differently.

Maybe get a better book of instructions from the library.








Or just make it up as you go along.
Reply:Buy another book. How can anyone tell you how to do this on here? The cards all have different meanings - long meanings and they all interact with each other. Buy a better book.
Reply:im guessing terot cards are the ones you use to read peoples futures??.....if they are dont even touch them or try to learn to use them its just like ouija boards there a satanic game
