I recently bought some tarot cards. I havent a clue how to use them and they have been left un used. my friends said it was bad luck to have them in your house. Does anyone know if this is true??
Is it dangerous to have tarot cards in your house??
yes its true if you brought them yourself, the loop hole is to pass them on to a friend and ask a friend to buy you a set, always wrap them in a cloth of importance to you after use.
Reply:that's the dumbest thing i've ever read. this isn't the movie the ring where you just pass it along. there's nothing dangerous about them. freak.. Report Abuse
Reply:There's nothing dangerous about tarot cards. Your friend is overly paranoid or superstitious or something.
Reply:have four different sets because I like their designs and are all unused. haven't had much bad luck
Reply:what a load of baloney!!! if you're not guna use them i'll have em,what you wana get is a oujia board, much more fun than tarot cards!!
Reply:Not dangerous, not unlucky, not anything... unless you decide to eat them. Like saying is it unlucky etc to have the Quran, the Bible, Buddha or a book on Witchcraft.... they are just symbols of a religion. Luck is made by your own hard work, bad luck by negativity.
Reply:Of course it isn't! They are made of card! I know some strict Catholics think they are bad luck, but that is just superstition.
Reply:There are like three tarot decks in my house and nothing has happened in the many years they've been there.
Reply:No, it isn't . I have two tarot card deks and I have also a black cat.
But nothing is happend to me! You are too superstitious.
Reply:No more dangerous than ordinary playing-cards,as they were based on Tarot cards.
Reply:Hello Skin,
Dabble in the occult and you dabble in a spiritual world where you have no idea if its good or Evil. I think the latter is true. And my advice is to chuck em out and choose the good. x
Reply:not unless they are flamable
Reply:Complete and utter bollocks.
Reply:Saying tarot cards cause bad luck is like saying that pencils cause misspelled words.
Reply:no. Only if you set fire to them and let it get out of control.
Reply:How can you possibly believe such rubbish?
They are no more dangerous than any other piece of cardboard.
Bad luck from tarot cards can come only to people with a seriously bad conscience.
Reply:my friend has some, she said wrap then in black velvet.this protects them from bad vibes, hope this helps.
Reply:No it isn't true that Tarot cards are unlucky. I have 2 decks in my house, use them and have very good fortune.
Reply:Definitely
Tarot cards can be viscious and are subject to attacking without provocation. They should restricted, just like pit-bulls.
Reply:Yes.
Reply:How can cards be dangerous. The true history of Tarot cards is interesting, far more interesting than mumbo-jumbo fortune telling. Sadly superstition has overtaken historical research.
Reply:buy the instruction book. your friend it's too superstitious.
Reply:no i don;t
Reply:Tarot cards are NOT DANGEROUS and nor will they bring you bad luck. They are used to help you find answers to questions and to find away forward in your life. I used Tarot cards and they have never caused me any harm. Some people will say to buy a book on how to read them but you will find that every book you pick up will tell you different things. The best way to read them is to find YOUR meanings for each card. For an example, pick a card. Look at it, What do you feel the card is representing? Whats it saying to you. Remember the card of death or the devil doesnt have to mean something bad. This can represent an obstacle you need to overcome, a death of a situation your in etc. Read your cards how THEY feel to you. Always make a note of your cards picked in your readings, iif you regulary get a certain card this normally represents you or is your destiny card xx Good luck
Reply:Isa.8:19 Lev.19:31 Deut.18:10-12 Read these verses.
Reply:No there is no bad or good luck or energy IN the cards.
If you are using Tarot cards as an oracle, you may be more inclined to learn some card meanings and spreads. But if using Tarot Cards as a tool for Psychic Ability you would be less likely to hold to any hard and fast guide lines. I’m a profession psychic and use Tarot Cards in a random way. In 25 years of professional readings I’ve never used any ‘meanings or spreads’ of tarot cards from any books.
So if you want to develop ‘Psychic Ability’ throw the books and guidelines away and let the images inspire you. To tap in to it more you can go to my free develop-psychic-ability page here: http://www.psychic-junkie.com/develop-ps...
Here is a free download demo for a great Tarot program. To keep the size of the demo manageable it contains the Rider/Waite deck, the actual program will have 10 complete decks. This Demo version of Tarot is a full working copy for 30 days. So you get 30 days to study meanings and spreads! http://www.free-tarot-download-demo.wots...
Reply:They are just cards. I have been investigating using portents and omens like tarot and rune stones and they basically don't really have any power as objects. They are just things. If there is any power in them it because of the person who is using them.

Reply:tarot cards are used for divination purposes to find out answers to questions you may have. your friends are either misinformed or simply clueless. please don't pay attention to the people who use bible passages. if you are curious about how tarot works, you should do some research and read up on it. i would recommend cleansing them(smudging is one example), to remove any energies that may be in them from being handled. this way they can be attuned to your energy. tarot cards aren't used to contact spirits(ouija boards are one example of ways to contact spirits). below are some links about the origins of tarot, how to use, and care for the deck.

Can anyone predict my future by tarot cards?
can anyone work with the tarot cards. draw 4 cards for for me togther with your own intuition. What is being shown?

Can anyone predict my future by tarot cards?
I hate to tell you this but Tarot cards CANNOT tell the future. The future changes constantly with every decision one makes. The tarot cards are a tool of divination used to tell you the different angles of your question or concern. Know that I am only telling you because I care and only wish the best for you. I would suggest finding someone in person that will do a tarot reading in front of you so that you can witness the cards as they come up and also interpret them yourself as the person is interpreting them for you. It is definately an experience best done in person. Good luck and have a Merry Christmas!

Alot of stress and worry over love.
EDUCATION: This is a good one. You have hope and you are a shining star! You have faith and inspiration. A good blend of past and present, Inspiration, either someone inspires you or you inspire someone, You can do great things!!!
JOB: You can do something you enjoy but you have to be creative, original, be the pro at what ever you choose to do, you might have to work your "magic" or pull some strings, know what your doing and be the best at it.
As for love...I see that there is some issues here. Maybe I am wrong so don't quote me on it but I feel that if these issues are not dealt with if can effect things with your education, and not in a good way either. What is a good site to buy tarot cards and tarot books on how to use them?
I have recently become interested in tarot and would like to start learning how to use them and purchase my own. can anyone tell me a good site...besides amazon and ebay to buy some good cards. and also the site should include any information on things i should do before using them.
What is a good site to buy tarot cards and tarot books on how to use them?
I second this answer for decks and books
www.llewellyn.com
then there is also
www.tarotgarden.com
as far as doing something before you use them?
There is nothing special you need to do unless you want to give your reading experience some sort of opening ritual. Some people like to burn incense, others spread thier cards out on a silk cloth.
want to know everything about tarot?
and talk with others who read?

Reply:hi. let me tell you of my experience of buying tarot cards- condensed version-Dream the night I bought them- I was literally giving birth to a monster child in a fiery (fire-ry) stream.
Ignored that-for a while. Dream the night that I threw them away-after a great and involved spiritual discussion-I was down in a dark basement, looking for something. the creaky door at the top of the rickety stairs, slowly opened, and as the bright light shown down from the room above. I saw a hand reach in, holding something. tossing it to me, I picked it up, and it was a bible...hmmm, suppose I made a connection then? Trust me. there is a reason we don't want our life's road broadcast for all and any to know. Think of the implications. Use your own intuition, or best yet, ASK and Ye Shall RECIEVE - Not a question asked goes unanswered, we just have to pay attention and also remember that we have asked a question!

What brand (style) of tarot cards did Jung base his ?
Jung didn't base his theory of archetypes on tarot cards. Jung's theory is older than whatever deck you're talking about.

Reply:The tarot cards were only one of the mystical realms that Carl Jung explored. He, like Freud chose to delve into the unconscious often using themselves as the subject so as to reach into the unsuspecting mind. It is from their works that psychoanalysis had its beginnings. Jung chose to go along the lines of mysticism and symbolism as representative of what was happening deep inside the behaving brain. Which deck of tarot cards is not important. What was important was what they represented, specifically to the individual.

Do you believe in tarot cards? How can anything like that possibly be work?
" 'Do not practice divination or sorcery.
Do you believe in tarot cards? How can anything like that possibly be work?
Yes they can work if they are in the right hands. It is a tool to help the person giving the reading guidance to their own intuition.
Reply:No! and they don't!
Reply:It's a sham. A deck of cards cannot predict or determine events.
Reply:tarot cards do not dictate the future. they are a tool to help a person see the big picture - what may come to pass - and what he or she needs to do to avoid problems and find the outcome they wish.
they are not as much a divination tool as they are a meditative tool.
if you don't understand that, i can't help you.
Reply:Having used the tarot cards as a tool for over 20 years I have developed a theory about HOW they work that does not simply depend on saying that is a "spiritual" thing or that is "psychology" or "a con-job".
If you accept that events at the quantum level can have effects on the visible world, then the act of shuffling the deck establishes a connection at the quantum level which is what the reader then uses to connect to the questioner. This is also the reason that the more successful readers can use the Tarot for advice on the more PROBABLE courses of events based on what things are CURRENTLY and is also the reason that a person getting a reading can get an entirely different result afterwords as their position (on the quantum level) in space-time has dramatically changed.
Reply:yes. they simply pick up the energy of the person shuffeling them, and then tell that person a story of things that may come to pass.
they work the same way that prayer works.
Reply:the cards simply act as a tool to focus on ... it is our own intuition that does the work
like cloud reading .. bet you have done that before
well like clouds , you just say what you see ... but then you apply it to whoever you are reading
Reply:Believe in God,and for myself I had the card read to me on time and it came true. It is up to you to believe in it or not to.
Reply:Tarot gives you a point of focus. It allows a view of your situation that you might otherwise of missed. It's not magic. It's very good counseling. Sometimes it can create a suggestion of what the way ahead could be, if you have a skilled reader.
Remember, the tarot is only suggesting one possible outcome when you look to it for divination. There are many possible solutions. It merely suggests a propitious one.

Just in case, I'll answer both.
Tarot cards--and most other forms of divination--don't tell you anything you don't already know. That being said, sometimes it's easier to admit something you didn't want to face, or see something that has been swimming about in your head, when someone else says it out loud. That's why most people I know don't read for themselves--too easy to see what you WANT to see--and why most of us have the questioner shuffle the cards before laying them out (to impress their own energies on the cards.) There's actually some quantum theory that explains HOW it works, but I don't have a link and won't try to quote them here.
As for how it can BE work--well, it's a mental exercise, and it can be as fatiguing as any other. Akin to proof-reading, or anything else that requires concentration and attention to detail.

The cards are merely a tool to get in touch with one's inner guide, and for me are really more for meditation than divination. I don't believe most people read cards to "tell the future", but rather to enlighten and get in touch with their unconscious. In fact I think that most readings reflect the past and illuminate the present while presenting choices for possible outcomes to problems or situations.

Are tarot cards dangerous , bring spirits or bad luck?
I used the tarot cards for years in my teens. I am now 30 and considering getting some more. People are telling me that they are just like ouiji boards and bring bad spirits etc. I was wondering if this is true or if they are harmless. is their a darker side to tarot?
Are tarot cards dangerous , bring spirits or bad luck?
Hello
Neither tarot nor the ouiji board is dangerous.
Evil lies within the hearts %26amp; minds of man kind %26amp; not often else where!
Sadhara
Reply:tarot cards simply represent aspects and tendencies in life.
the major arcana represent the higher aspect, the subconscious and what may be necessary on an inner level to come through a crisis and what may have generated it. they represent the life cycle from the beginning to the end and how endings always bring new beginnings.
the minor arcana are how we tend to live and the different cycles of each life aspect, abundance/money, love, thought/mental process, and actions.
there is no darker side to the tarot the purpose behind their design is to help a querant gain clarity in life issues, the law of attraction is the base of a card draw.
Reply:Tarot cards are a tool that can be used for meditation, self discovery and some even claim divination. There is nothing evil or bad about them. However if you believe they are evil or even consider them "questionable" I would suggest that you not use them. Self-fulfilling prophecies can be a bit of a bummer drag.
Reply:People have been using cards --all types of cards, including the regular playing deck--since they were invented. Tarot cards used to be used to play a game like Bridge back in the 14 th century. It wasn't until the late 19th century that they become mostly distinguished as esoteric tools for divination and all the guides about what this card or that means was made up. No spirits bad or otherwise are involved. It's a way to help you focus and open your intuition and imagination. Tell your friends they are superstition and don't know what they are talking about , go buy more Tarot cards, and have fun.

I believe the cards are like a tool, the symbols on them help us plug into the collective unconscious, or akashic records, or the higher self (whatever the theory).
I've heard this thing about evil and spirits too, but I've been reading 17 years... never had any kind of sense of evil or fear. I have known many people reading longer than that who have never had a problem.
The only people I have known to say "scary things" happened are the people who
1) believed there was something scary about the tarot already, or
2) decided to dabble and had no idea what they were really doing, or
3) were taught to fear the tarot but decided to go for a reading and some fraud put on a freak show for them.
So, I basically think anything "scary" that happened to them was probably psychological.
Reply:I've never done that; but my suggestion would be to follow Biblical principles and avoid all forms of divination or sorcery. Fortune telling definitely falls into that category.

Are tarot cards dangerous , bring spirits or bad luck?
Hello
Neither tarot nor the ouiji board is dangerous.
Evil lies within the hearts %26amp; minds of man kind %26amp; not often else where!

Personalized Tarot Cards?
Could someone point me to a site that would let me submit a set of images and, for a small fee, would print and send these as a set of tarot cards to my house? The best I can find is playing cards ((not interested in that)) and Upperdeck offers trading cards but I'm not sure that's it either.
Any help? Thanks!
Personalized Tarot Cards?
I think your best approach is to take the images to a copy place and do them yourself. Most print houses have a large set-up charge and only print in large quatities. You are wanting 78 seperate cards and that is a lot of work to run off just one of each (to the print house).
If I where you I would arrange my images to where you can get several lined up on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper (standard size) copy those with a color copy machine on some card stock (which the copy store should have) and then cut them.
Good Luck- sounds fun.
Reply:Your best bet is to go to the www.tarotforum.net site (aeclectic tarot) and on the tarot creator's board post the question.
You can get a deck made up on card stock, at any Kinkos, but it won't have the varnished feel to it of a real deck.
I've bookmarked a few sites in anticipation of my next deck, so have these--
http://www.delanoservice.com/ they do tarot, but have a minimum order amount they want from you
http://www.tmcards.com/index.php?PHPSESS...
http://www.plaincards.com/
http://www.wopc.co.uk/otc/production.htm...
But officially I'm going for the full print run over at CartaMundi which has an office in Tennessee.

In a Tarot deck of 78 cards, what are the odds of pulling the same card twice in a row?
Mathematically, it's 1:78 to pull a specific card. But what are the odds of pulling the SAME card twice in a row?
In a Tarot deck of 78 cards, what are the odds of pulling the same card twice in a row?
1/78. Assuming you don't mean a specific card (like "the Death card") twice. If you do mean a specific up-front specified card twice, the answer would be (1/78)^2.
But for just ANY card twice in a row, it's the same as one specific card. The first draw can be any card at all (probability: 78/78 = 1/1), then the second draw must match the original card (probability: 1/78).
1/1 * 1/78 = 1/78.
Of course, this assumes you draw "with replacement" (putting back the card after you draw it). Otherwise the probability is 0.

You can pull any card the first time.
Reply:It's 1 in 78. It works that way because you didn't specify which card. If you draw a card, all that needs to happen for your condition to be met is for that same card to be drawn again. It would be 1 in 6084 if you had a specific card in mind that you wanted drawn twice in a row.

Actually never mind, looking at other peoples answers, its just 1/78 (what i said above only applies if u specified what card u were pulling)

Reply:The probability of pulling any one card is 1 / 78.
Replace the drawn cardback into the deck and shuffle.
The probability of pulling the same card as from the first pull is 1 / 78.
Since the pulls are independent events, we can multiply the probabilities of the seperate pulls to calculate the probability of pulling the same card twice with replacement.
P(pulling same card twice with replacement)
= (1/ 78)(1 / 78)
= 1 / 6084
Reply:one in 78 . both times.
Reply:You are correct that the pulling any particular card on the first draw is 1/78. If you replace the card and randomly draw again, the chance of getting a particular card on the second draw is also 1/78. To get the joint probability of picking the SAME card in two successive draws you multiply 1/78 x 1/78. The resulting probability is 0.000164. To put this in perspective, if you drew two cards in this way 100,000,000 times, you would draw the same card twice in a row about 164 times!

Have you ever made tarot cards?
how did you come out with the pics for them? did you make them out of construction paper, cardboard? what did each card mean to you, and why? thanks.
Have you ever made tarot cards?
In Llewelyn's 2008 Tarot Reader (at most Barnes and Nobles), there's an article on how to do this.
As the other folks said, you can make your deck out of any pictures you like or that resonate with you. Just cut and paste onto some cardstock.
If you want to get fancy, get some lamination packets for pictures and put one card in each packet and fold. You can get these at Wal-Mart.
You might just start with the Major Arcana. That's 22, instead of the usually 78. Now take out one card, say the Magician, and see which of your pictures/cut-outs make sense with what the Magician picture means to you.
If you are computer savvy, a fun, and very quick way to do this type of thing, is to use clip art and post card paper. Post card paper has 4 cards per page. Most of the postcard packages (like Avery) have a template you can put into your Word Processor. Just fill in the blanks with the clip art, and print. Gives you 4 Tarot Cards per page.
If you are an artist, use the Major Arcana, and create your own version of each picture.
If you are a photographer, you can use the Major Arcana as a guide, and setup photo shoots for each picture, complete with props, clothing, friends, and pets.
And if you are really good at the last two methods, consider marketing or web-marketing your products. People are always interested in new Tarot decks.
Years ago, I made a symbol deck out of square pieces. I just used typical symbols (squares, triangles, Astrological signs, etc), but made them so if you pushed them together, they fit and made a bigger picture. I made up a list of meanings for each card and entered a psychic fair and did readings. I was booked all day! Why? Because no one had ever heard of symbol readings and wanted to try out the "new guy" with the "new cards." I even made specialized cards/symbols for folks, put them in little frames, and sold them at a flea market a few months later.
Have fun with this.

For my tarot cards, I looked up the suits and did a lot of research into what each suit represented, and then picked a picture that had personal meaning to me. I made both the major and minor arcana (77 cards total).
I painted them with acrylic onto cardstock, and then bordered it with matte board and laminated it.

Is it easy to learn to read Tarot cards or does it take a long time to learn?
You can get a deck of Tarot cards, read the instructions, do a layout and then read what each card means. That just takes practise. To actually use the Tarot as a divination tool, that depends on your pyschic abilities. As with all pyschic's you choose your form of divination and then the more you use that form the easier it gets. I am a Medium, and used to use Tarot as a way to get my information, now I just do a meditation to connect with the other side. Hope this info helps.
Is it easy to learn to read Tarot cards or does it take a long time to learn?
The key to learning the Tarot is to learn the symbolism. I don't think you ever finish learning, that is the beauty of the cards.
Start by learning what the symbols for the 4 suits mean. Then learn the symbolic meaning of the numbers from 1-10. Also use the Major Deck as a meditation tool, focusing on each one individually.
You can get a book which will tell you the "definitive" meanings, but the real art comes from letting the cards "talk" to you. There is no one meaning for any card or combination of cards.
Just like any other form of Medieval art work, all the pictures represent more than one thing and the symbols can evoke different images to different people.
Finally learn to enjoy and appreciate them. Start with a simple deck, like the Swiss or Marseilles decks. Once you are familiar with the imagery you can then choose a deck to reflect your tastes.
Reply:The best way to start with the tarot is choose a deck that appeals or 'speaks' to you.
There are so many out there now that you will be spoilt for choice.
There is no great mystery. You do not have to learn by heart what each card means though it is useful as a starting point.
There are different spreads you can use but you can begin very simply;
1 card for an answer to a specific question
3 cards - the one to the left is conditions that have influenced the present, the one in the middle is the current situation and the one to the right is anticipated outcome.
Study the cards and use your own intuition; what is the overall symbology of the card. Look for the details - what do each represent to you - what is the overall picture.
Start by reading for yourself and keep a note - see how accurate your intuition is.
The more you use your own deck the easier it will become.
Remember tarot is just another tool to use with natural psychic ability.
Reply:there are 78 cards in the tarot, so it is a fairly complex process to learn the card meanings, but it is not difficult. time and persistence will always do the trick so do not become disillusioned.
do layouts of cards daily to learn what the cards mean and how the work together and before you know it you will gain a working knowledge. as your intuition develops you will find your information becomes more accurate and specific to whoever you are reading for.
be sure to let anyone you read for to know you are learning so they and you can allow for misinterpretations. good luck
Reply:When you say learn to read Tarot cards you need to realise that they don't actually do anything or have any mystical powers or meanings.
There are several differnt shuffling and laydown techniques that can have a myriad of supposed meanings and so you could spend many years learning by wrote all the methods previous people have tried or you could just laydown any formation of cards you like. As long as you speak convincingly you will find some half wit prepared to give you a few quid for doing it for them.
Reply:Like many aspects of the occult, it can take a little time to learn. A lifetime to master.
Keep in mind though that Tarot was originally intended to be a game. Played as a standard card game centuries back as one may play something like Poker or Blackjack in this day and age.
As such, whilst the result of divination may well be no different to other methods, be it reading tealeaves, runes or otherwise, there will always be sceptics. Granted sceptics exist everywhere, but moreso where it comes to divination.
If you want to know some free advise? The future is best left where it is. To attempt to change your future or those around you is to invite wrath upon you if it should actually work. I believe things are set in place for a reason. If we deviate from this things can go wrong.
But then, someone will combat that with "But maybe it's destiny for you to know, thus your destiny is to change your destiny" etc lol. It all gets quite complex!
Reply:if you get an easy-to-learn deck like the rider-waite standard, you will learn very swiftly. i started one august and i think i was very fluent in them by january or so... but really you could learn the whole deck in two weeks of intense study. basically the RWS is easy to learn because of the various visual clues on it... more abstract decks are harder to learn.
http://tarotforum.net is a good site to start with... join the site and learn from the forums. it's a community of people learning from each other and having fun at the same time. they all post their favorite spreads, so if you keep a journal of all your favorite spreads, it'll be easy.
good luck and start with that RWS deck... it's pretty easy sailing from there =)
p.s. mike H is right... sometimes it gets kinda boring knowing what's going to happen, and some argue it's impossible to observe the future without changing it. therefore, i mainly do readings for people's present situations and how to change them, not necessarily what's coming into their future. though sometimes it IS important to view the future.... you decide =)
Reply:there is no right or wrong way, they are just a tool to open.
You can do a whole reading from one card.
first you have to learn to push your light body out as we call it.
You do this by imagining your aura is extending and you put a circle of protective light around it.
pick one card and what you are going to do is look at three things that stand out to you, what do you feel from each.write it down.practise on friends etc as its hard to read for your self.
Always remember to close down after by bringing your light body back in ,and thanking your guides etc.
any questions please ask,as I have tried to make it short and not too much to digest in one go.use you intuition before you look in the book.to see if they are alike.

Tarot can take time to learn as they are complex, but there are many ways to also work with them.
I have studied for over 20 years, I teach them - but i'm also still learning!

Reply:Its not hard, provided (for complete beginners, who don't know anyone who does them) you get the cards with a book which tells you the card meaning. And sometimes the meaning is so clear you just know it. No, it isn't hard at all. Its really simple.
Reply:it depends on the cards and the books that you get. i have the faerie oracles. it was very easy to learn. you just have to read the book and practice.
Reply:Like anything you either have a knack for it or you must learn learn learn.
Reply:Get a good book and practice,practice,practice.

How old are Tarot Cards and What are the mysteries behind the veil?
There is a great documentary about the origins of Tarot on http://www.MyPathTV.net
The many different tarot decks available will all portray symbolic imagery which must then pass through your psychic senses and, given the context of the questions asked, bring forth a tarot card meaning that significantly answers your question. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/tarotvisio...

The mysteries behind the veil are of the highest esoteric kind, which even if I knew, I would never tell.

How do they work is probably more intersting. If you dump the religious, supernatural, occult explanations then body language and cold reading becomes the most probable explanation. Indeed most experimentation into the Tarot seems to show BL and CR to be the way they work.

I own a Rider Waite deck. Have for over 30 years. Google it, you can even get them from amazon I think.

Anyone have ghost or poltergeist activity after using tarot cards?
I dont use them but some relatives do and had some strange things happen few times after use. Things having been moved and some dishes falling to floor, things of that nature.
Anyone have ghost or poltergeist activity after using tarot cards?
yes there's some spooky stuff out there
Reply:No, but a friend of mine had a strange exp with a ouija board that freaked us all out - none of us to this day can look at one without getting chills! The supernatural is very intriguing and scary at the same time!
Reply:Did you know that the use of tarot cards and anything relating to spiritism is forbidden in the Bible? There is a reason. They are used either to foretell the future or contact the dead. In actuality, this never happens. The "dead" are actually evil spirits impersonating the dead.
Think about it, if God is against spiritism, then who is for it?
When a person deals with spiritism, they attract these evil spirits, allowing them into their homes, terrorizing them.
The only way to put a stop to these things is to get rid of anything that dabbles into the spirit world.
Get them out of your house. Only then will the activity cease.
Reply:I've thrown a ton of spreads and have never budged so much as a pillow.
Much to my chagrin. I'd probably freak if anything ever happened, but oh, wouldn't it be fascinating!
Reply:Trust me on this, the two events are not related.
One can do a Tarot reading with playing cards, for example. Are you saying THEY could call poltergiests too?? Better not go to a casino then!
All too often, seemingly rational people turn to the supernatural for explainations when they cannot readily see what could have caused a certain event. More often than not, it turns out to be something mundane.
The only reasons I know this, is because I used to be a paranormal investigator for a time and have been very much involved in the Occult since childhood.
Tarot cards are just that - CARDS, nothing more, nothing less. The divinationary aspect comes from the person who attempts to 'read' them.
Tell your relatives not to fret.
Reply:Not, it's just normal happenings that people have attributed to the spirits. I used to play this with other people all the time and guide the answers with pre-conceived notions, etc. The mind can play games with people.
Reply:my friend did. she said that after whenshe used the cards...couple nights latershe was watching tv...out of no where...the lamp on her side table jsut moved to the shelf on the fireplace
Reply:We have tarot cards and play with them often but, the poltergist activity was well before we got the tarot cards. I know that the activity in our house is my relitives they are driving me crazy from the after life just to let me know they are still here!

Should I put any stock in online tarot cards?
I went to asiaflash.com to use the online tarot cards, but all they've been predicting really is misunderstandings and the possibility of a breakup between my boyfriend and me. I'll admit that things between us aren't completely fantastic right now and that there is indeed an unspoken tension that needs to be addressed (probably tonight) but just the fact that the cards are predicting gloom and doom makes me wonder if I should listen to them at all--especially since it's online.
Maybe what I'm really asking is: should I worry?

Hello
On line tarot readings are computer generated programs - you can download them from my site - but they are for fun.
I would not take much notice of a program - find a real reader or start to study the tarot yourself.

What is difference between tarot cards and rune cards?
A typical or standard deck of Tarot contains 78 cards. Runes which are an ancient Germanic alphabet have 24 letters or Runes. Both can be used as a tools of divination. There are Tarot Decks that apply a rune to a card such as the Haindl and Quest.
Rune cards would follow the language, history, myth, and lore of Runes. They originated from a alphabet.

Both can be used for divination, self discovery, or spirit connection.
What is difference between tarot cards and rune cards?
They are different forms of divination tool and they exist largely because individual people have different preferances. Both have a long history, and often times people who favor the northern reconstructionalists favor the runes.
Personally, I never got along with them - it's just wrong for me. I stick with other forms of divination.

How hard is it to learn to read tarot cards? How long do you think it would take. any info would be appreciate
All decks will come with a "Little White Book" -- a small pamphlet with a short description of each card. I'd suggest you don't rely too much on this -- it'll tell you the "what", but doesn't give you a feel for the "why".
First, decide which "flavor" of deck you want -- there are basically three kinds. There's a traditional "Marseilles" style -- most like playing cards, the Ace through 10 only have pip counts. I find them hard to learn from because there are no visual ques on the pip cards to help you. There's the "Rider-Waite-Smith" variety - with a static scene on the pip cards. A great help in exploring the depth and multiple meanings of the card. There're also the "Thoth" varieties -- can be easy because the card meaning is written on the card ... but can be hard because they lend themselves well to bringing Kaballa, Astrology, and other mystic schemes into play. Not bad in itself, but it means there's more you have to learn.
Next, go to a used bookstore and pick up an introductory tarot book or two. Steer away from anything by A.E. Waite! There are many good beginning books -- my favorites are by Rachel Pollack and Mary Greer. You'll find most books (but not all) will follow the Rider-Waite-Smith (RWS) imagery.
I'd go with a good RWS deck (they tend to be very friendly, too). Pull a card or two a day and try to form a "thing to think about" for the day. Maybe two cards and try to form a "subject - verb" reading. Keep a journal -- this will help you become familiar with multiple card meanings; it will also help you become familiar with linking cards together to form a logical reading.
Ignore reversals at first -- some readers always ignore them. I think they're useful, but would not complicate things at the beginning. Later, when you're comfortable with how the cards interact, I'd start bringing in reversals.
How long does this all take? Draw a two card spread a day, keep a journal ... and figure you'll feel comfortable after two or three months.
How hard is it to learn to read tarot cards? How long do you think it would take. any info would be appreciate
I think you could learn faster with a traditional deck based on the ancient cards themselves (as opposed to modern 'fun' decks that could be based on anything from angels to cats). More traditional cards will have archetypal symbols that are recognizable on a more psychological/emotional level, and will allow you to 'use your gut' and gain more quickly an appreciation and understanding of the cards. But I think it would be extremely useful and necessary to also read on the history of each of the cards, on the history of the tarot as a whole, and basic books on psychology and symbols. I suggest using a deck created by Manly Hall, but there are many others. Most decks come with an informational booklet, at least. Also, there is much free information on tarot reading available on line.
Reply:Learning to read tarot cards is not all about learning in the traditional sense: There is an element of intuition and self confidence, and indeed an element of magic... You have to be in the right mindset first and foremost - Find your groove and if you have the gift you can become an expert almost immediately after just a little study because knowledge will flow towards you just as water flows down hill and as it has done today!!
Reply:It takes regular practice. Choose a deck that really appeals to you, sit down and study each card in turn and see what it says to you.
There'll be a guidebook with the deck. You can use that to start with while practising on close friends, but as you progress, you'll make your own interpretations. It looks a bit daft using a guidebook with a "proper" client!
Do a practice reading for yourself every day and note how it relates to the day's happenings.
Start now and you'll be ok by September to read just for interest; however if you're going commercial you need a lot of hard work %26amp; dedication. You'll know when you're ready.
Remember one thing - it's only showing trends. Trends can show what is likely to happen, but can be broken by our own, or others' acts of will.
Like - if a man walks into a pub, we can predict from his age, clothes and demeanour what sort of drink he'll buy. But he might buy a strawberry alcopop, he might buy a hot chocolate, he might have come to fix the jukebox, he might just stand on his head in the middle of the floor! Don't get too vain, cos you'll come a cropper.
Be honest if a reading just won't "flow".
And - don't ever, ever cheat!

Can I draw a tarot card from the piece of paper and do predictions?
I have a book that teach how to predict future with tarot cards. But now I have the problem where can I get the tarot cards if in my small town does not sale any of magic crafts.
So I am asking can I draw a tarot cards and do predictions.
Also I feel that I already have the gift to predict stuffs but I need more knowledge in tarot cards.
I will do predictions for my friends and family for free.
Can I draw a tarot card from the piece of paper and do predictions?
To practitioners, there is nothing "magic" in the cards themselves. It is the randomness of the deal, the arrangement and in the interpretation of the cards that the future can be "seen."
There is little difference in the sticks thrown in the I Ching, or, even, in the random throw of dice. The powers are not it the objects, but in the interpretation.
I don't know where, on line "Pam R" gets her tarot cards, but how would she, or anyone else know who or where the cards are printed and manufactured. What would give factory made tarot cards more validity than hand made ones? Who "manufactured" the first tarot cards? I'll bet they were made by hand.

Not really, You can purchase tarot online, so they can be easy to get.
Pam
Reply:sure, why not. or get them online?

What powers do the tarot cards actually have and are they reliable?
Just wanted opinions really as i have had numerous readings and they all tell me the same thing? In a bit of a situation at the moment and wanted some clarity. My own instincts tell me the right path to take and a reading seems to confirm things for me but are they 100% accurate?
What powers do the tarot cards actually have and are they reliable?
they r reliable
Reply:I believe that tarot cards do have a meaning for you, however it is for you to find it. also it depends who has read them for you.
Reply:Tarot cards have been neither proven or disproven to work. Namely because you can't prove or disprove that they work. It however isn't as rediculous as astrology, which got its roots in egypt when people noticed that when certain constallations went in front of certain planets, changes in the weather happened. But then people exploited this, and now its a multi-million dollar industry.
Reply:Most of the cards will represent a symbol that is considered universal or shared by different cultures, but is your mind the one that gives them a meaning. I think the power of it relies in the ability to make the connection of the idea to your real life, as an advice.
Reply:The technique is called cartomancy. You use your concentration and mana powers to foretell the future.
Reply:they are just as reliable as a pack of cards..and its all guess work
Reply:Tarot is never 100% accurate, and they don't really have any particular special powers, they simply attune to the owner, which is why we are never supposed to buy them ourselves, but get someone else to do it and handle them before handing them to you, that way the energies put in to making them are not tranferred to you. You need to trust your instincts.

Reply:Tarot cards can be very reliable. In the hands of a good reader the cards can offer insight into areas of your life you needed clarity on.
It is important to remember though that tarot cards show what could happen or what might happen. You have your own free will and any decisions you make are entirely up to you.
If you don't like what the tarot cards have said; Make some postive changes in your life and the next reading will be different.
Follow your own instincts, let the cards guide you but, in the end make your own decisions.

Obviously this is my own opinion and I don't believe in card readings. I have read cards for people in the past (where you are very vague and most of the time make it up) and it is amazing how many people will say "That's amazing everything you predicted has happened!"
The point of this answer however is regardless of how reliable or not tarot is you should trust your own instincts above what cards tell you. If you feel a decision is right, it probably is.
Reply:They have no power, they are cardboard, you are human and so you have power, you have freewill and a conscience, use it wisely...A sensible person does not lay trust is such crutches as tarot and fortune tellers, the people that sell these things only sell them for one reason, money, not your wellbeing
Reply:How can they be acurate ! my solution is chuck all of the cards up in the air and see how they land - do this 3 times - this will give you an average reading - then totally ignore anything it came up with - go to the bank and just empty your money out and give it to whoever did your reading because if you really let the turning of a card decide what way to lead your life - you shouldnt be allowed out of the house alone let alone be in charge of money !

Reply:I read tarot cards. Tarot cards do not tell the future. I do not believe that they themselves have any actual "powers".
That being said, I do believe that in the hands of an honest, experienced, enlightened reader they can provide genuine guidance. The images on the cards are symbols representing things you probably already know about but aren't paying close enough attention to. The tarot can kind of tell you what to look out for, but the choices of what to do with that information are up to the individual.
The future is an ever changing thing and all people have the free will to choose their own path. For this reason, the tarot cannot be called "100% accurate". I have, however, found it to be very helpful in times of confusion.
If all of your readings have pointed to the same thing, I would say it is to be paid some attention. Just be aware that you have the power to shape your future. Take that knowledge and put it to use!
Bright blessings.
Reply:the tarot is only as reliable as the reader as it takes years and years of practice to get the hang of interpreting the meanings in the cards.
there is no psychic ability needed just a good strong honest instinct. I personally think you are maybe having your readings too close together timewise and this is why they are all saying the same.
i also do not belive they are 100% accurate but they do provide a symbolic insight into what you already know within yourself. Trust your own instincts and use the cards as a way to clarify matters.....
hope that helps..........
Reply:Tarot cards are very good for playing a game called Tarot. They're no use for anything else.
People who read your cards, palm or tea leaves just tell you what they think you want to hear. Don't fall for it.
Reply:the cards are only a tool to interact with your subconscious. the cards have no inherent power of their own. other people use different methods of accomplishing the same thing.
they are only as accurate as your interpretation of what the subconscious is trying to tell you. the problem is the subconscious doesn't speak english. it speaks in symbols and associations. our minds are trained to understand things differently and thus a language barrier is created. some symbols are more obvious, but others aren't so clear until the event happens and we finally get it.
also, the future is not set in stone. there is no such thing as "the" future except in theory. there will be A future, but which one that is we have no idea yet. our choices change the courses all the time. so your reading may be accurate FOR THAT POINT IN TIME, but ANY decision CAN change it. it may be a small decision or a major one. but paths can change simply by making decisions which may nullify the previous reading. the reading wasn't wrong, it was just right for that point in time but is no longer valid due to decisions which changed the path.
Reply:No powers whatever. They may be relied upon to produce a random combination.
Reply:They don't have any power unless you believe in them.If you believe in them then whatever the reading is you will be able to twist it to fit with what has happened/will happen to you.The only reason I use tarot cards is for a bit of fun.Go with your instincts. They will usually be correct.Don't just rely on tarot cards.
Reply:It is the energy you put on the cards when you shuffle them
You do know that every person has their own unique energy?
So the cards you draw have a message only for the person that shuffles those cards.
Even if you don't agree with what ever the message is, wait for at least 12 months before you do them again
That is how long it takes for a full reading.
That is why it is best you have your own cards with your own energy
Once someone else touches the cards they have then put their energy into your cards
That is why most people don't get correct reading
Contaminated energy I call it : )

I just did one last night and she was amazed. p.s. the Gypsys say that no one who reads any cards should ever charge $ for a reading. It will cause the card reader to have much bad luck!

I have had tarot readings done and they have always been correct,
Reply:Tarot cards advise you but its up to you to choose the right path for you. Only you have the power to change things in your life.
Reply:Tarot is a "snapshot" of where your life is karmically headed and what circumstances you are in at this moment.
It suggests what happens if you keep following this path; but just by 'getting" the reading itself changes the outcome (if you listen) just by knowing it. The only exception are decks that have a "joker" (known as "to all believers" - which means they won't tell you!)
PPl should not get a tarot reading more than once a month, if that. The cards will not change if you don't.
I've proved it time %26amp; time again by doing the same reading over %26amp; over %26amp; cutting the cards and mixing them up and always get teh same patterns.
Tarot cards are read by individual card meaning, the position they occupy and what cards they are next to...
Other than that, you can be taught to be a tarot reader, but the best of us are naturals that don't even need the cards. I myself can just look at your eyes, esp for a past life!
Reply:The cards by themselves don't have any special powers. I read that it is mostly psychological. Some people believe the cards register their energy as they shuffle and lay out the cards.
The readings are only accurate if the reader is seriously focusing on the question as they shuffle and layout the cards.
What i do to get accurate readings is pour out all my emotions and thoughts in regards to the question I'm asking. Sometimes, I talk to the cards about the situation as I shuffle them.
One thing I forgot to add: If you need to ask the same question twice in one day, use two decks. If you get teh same answer from both decks, you will know the reading is accurate. I own a couple decks for this reason.

they are only as accurate as your interpretation of what the subconscious is trying to tell you. the problem is the subconscious doesn't speak english. it speaks in symbols and associations. our minds are trained to understand things differently and thus a language barrier is created. some symbols are more obvious, but others aren't so clear until the event happens and we finally get it.
also, the future is not set in stone. there is no such thing as "the" future except in theory. there will be A future, but which one that is we have no idea yet. our choices change the courses all the time. so your reading may be accurate FOR THAT POINT IN TIME, but ANY decision CAN change it. it may be a small decision or a major one. but paths can change simply by making decisions which may nullify the previous reading. the reading wasn't wrong, it was just right for that point in time but is no longer valid due to decisions which changed the path.

Reply:I could never figure out how to work with those things. I admire the ones who can, though. However many years ago I learned to do readings with a straight deck and have 100% accuracy so far! I just did one last night and she was amazed. p.s. the Gypsys say that no one who reads any cards should ever charge $ for a reading. It will cause the card reader to have much bad luck!
Reply:If you have had numerous readings and they are all telling you the same thing..then i would think your readings are 100% accurate..
Reply:It's just a load of mumbo-jumbo.It never ceases to amaze me,in this day %26amp; age, that people still believe in this nonsense.
How do i take really good care of my tarot cards?
(please also take a look at some of my other questions about tarot cards. i am a beginner!!)
How do i take really good care of my tarot cards?
Some like to keep their cards in a velvet bag, some wrap in scarves and some buy or make carved wooden boxes to keep their cards in. I keep mine wrapped in a scarf in a wooden box that I made with the help of my husband.
Blessed Be.
Reply:Burn them or throw them away. :)
Reply:I wrap mine in a scarf and keep them in a carved wooden box. Do what feels right.
Reply:If it were me, I would ask them how best to take care of them:) Wouldn't they know?
Reply:by burning them just like in the bible they took all the books on magic and burned them.
Reply:THROW THEM AWAY NOW!!!!!
Reply:The best thing to do with tarot cards is TEAR THEM UP, DIG A HOLE AND BURY THEM DEEP!!!!
Reply:Burn them would be what the lord would want you to do.
Reply:Get a velvet bag or make one. Something pretty.
Reply:I've always kept mine in a piece of silk within an ornate wooden box, though I have not used them for many years. As with any valuable tool, you must respect them. A farmer would not let his hoe go un-sharpened or leave it out in the rain to rust. You're tarot cards are a tool. Fine linen, precious silk, ornate boxes, usually from a natural source (stone, wood, etc.) seem best in respecting them.
Reply:I would think the best thing you could do with your tarot cards would be to burn them, but hey, that's just me.
Reply:burn them :-)
Reply:I would have to agree with Carlton. Too bad most of your responses aren't as intelligent. By the way, the comment "Burn them" has already been used, think of something more original.
Reply:I heard throwing them in a fireplace makes them more accurate.

When doing the tarot cards how can you answer a yes or no question? Also how do you answer a question?
regarding money or love. Example: Will I win the law suit? Or is my spouse cheating on me?
When doing the tarot cards how can you answer a yes or no question? Also how do you answer a question?
Tarot cards show imagery with different connotations to each. Whne asking a yes or no question simply shuffle the deck and visualize the question then draw the card. If the image is right side up the answer is positive or yes. If the card is upside down (or also called inverted) the answer is a negative or no. To answer a more complex question you do what is called a read or a spread..I suggest you look up the different card spreads and what each position relates to in the body of your question then practice a little and good luck!
Reply:Call me strange but in all my years of reading for myself and other people, I don't think I've ever asked a "will x happen" question. Because tarot's not a divination tool that's set up that way.
It's used as a focus and the order of the cards is the framework of the reading that we then add intuition to. It's not a yes-or-no system.
You're not alone - people do ask all the time. The most intriguing question I got from a client who said "Am I pregnant?" I'm afraid that's a drugstore question not a supernatural question.
In my view diviantion is for those questions without a concrete answer. The ones you've asked can be answered in more commonplace ways.
Reply:Shuffle the Tarot cards on your question then cut into three piles. Take the top card from each pile and read. For extra information look at the bottom card of each pile. There should be a general indication that answers your question. Otherwise take a pack of normal playing cards, shuffle them on your yes/no question and then play a game of patience. If the cards work out the answer is yes, if they don't the answer is no.
Reply:Yes or no questions are the hardest to answer through the Tarot. However, if this is the sort of answer you require, look for cards that cross read to the answer, (example Will I win the lawsuit? An indication that you will would be seeing a card or cards that indicate a financial gain in the future. Is my spouse cheating? Look for cards that indicate a breech of trust, another person in conjunction with a card that stands for him/her in a romantic context.
Reply:I don't ask yes or no questions. I am usually asking questions like how will such and such effect me.
BB
Reply:The cards do the answering. Be very specific when asking the questions or you wont get an accurate answer.
I have never asked a yes or no type question to my cards, so I don't know how well they can answer them.
My suggestion would be to try oracle cards, they are a bit diffrent and I know they can answer yes and no type questions.

How do tarot cards work? if I'm interested in getting a reading done?
Your energy is transferred into the cards. The cards then read your blueprint of your energy.
Ever walk into a room and feel the energy rise? or fall? Or have you walked into a room and felt strange and or peaceful. You were reading the energy. It's the same with the cards. A good tarot reader will ask you to touch the cards.
He/She will then just interpret the cards based on what your energy has transferred to them.
they will interpret your past present and future. In my work. Tarot cards seem to only work 6 months into the future.
I've been doing this a VERY LONG time. And that seems to be the limit. Asking about future wives when you are 18. Usually only means the person is out to fleece you. For a long term reading you need a psychic who can also read tarot cards. Sound confusing? It is.
They are separate people. I can teach my neighbor how to read a deck of cards. But unless they are tuned into reading peoples energy the cards will be pretty useless.
I was told when I was 18 that I would have 6 children and marry a dark haired man that spoke Italian.
I married a blond haired man, I have 2 children and he's polish. and we've been married 26 years.
I still read cards for short term answers, but a real psychic is what you need.
How do tarot cards work? if I'm interested in getting a reading done?
tarot cards are a set of cards with various pictures that represent differant things. if you ask them a question, then lay the cards out in various ways (called spreads) they can provide insight on how to solve the problem, or what the answer to the question is. you can ask them a vague question like "how will the next three months of my life go?" down to specific yes/no type questions. if you are looking for a reading, there are places online you can get them done for free, but i cant promise you on how accurate they will be. odds are there is one who lives near you, you just dont know it because you havent looked. do a search online, be be leary of anyone charging what seems like a lot of money. there are people who will do it for very cheap simply because they love doing it. there are also people on here who will do it, so hopefully you find someone who can help you. i would do it but im not comfortable doing a reading for someone over a computer.

Tarot reading revolves around the belief that the cards can be used to gain insight into the current and possible future situations of the subject (or querent). Some believe they are guided by a spiritual force, such as gaia, while others believe the cards help them tap into a collective unconscious.

Is it possible to read the tarot cards for someone who is not present?
I recently started learning how to read the tarot cards, and would like to know if i can read the cards for someone who I have in mind? Even if they are not present? If so, how?
Is it possible to read the tarot cards for someone who is not present?
I'm still just an amateur, but this has been my experience:
I say "yes," it is possible, but not recommended. In the book that came with my deck, they say "absolutely, go for it, why not, just concentrate really hard on that individual." Which is fine, I guess, but the results I got weren't accurate to their actual situation, but did reflect my interpretation of their situation. So I try not to, personally. Maybe if you were able to stay objective and focused during the meditation, I don't know. Take those sort of readings with a grain of salt is what I say.
Reply:NO , you can not because it is an invasion of that person privacy, and according to the rules, if you have read in you guide book, it states , you can not, for the purposes of the universal rules. But if you were given permission to do so, then a yes.
Reply:it works better if the person is there...i always have them shuffle and cut while they're thinking of their question. it helps if their energy is there.
i think that some people do readings like that, but i never have.
bb
Reply:If you have a very strong connection you MIGHT be able to, but it is usually not advised as that type of connection is likely to make your readings VERY subjective.
In my experience, it is FAR better to have face-to-face readings and NOT to read for relatives and close friends as it is hard to remain objective.
(I only break those rules in very limited circumstances as I have BECOME close friends with one person who was a "regular" of mine on Jackson Square AFTER I started reading for her)
I also have rules in my religion concerning readings that I follow that I will not go into here
Reply:Yes, however it can be challenging but it can help if you have a personal article of the person in your possession.
You simply have to focus your energy to the image of the person in your head. That will realign your signal to match theirs or as close as you can get.
Reply:No!
Reply:You can only do a surface or book reading. Without the querist there the deck cannot amplify your talent or subconscious. If you have no knowledge of the person nor any physical contact at any time the reading will be skewed if you go beyond the book meanings.
Reply:Yes, readings can be done without the person present.
I do readings for family and friends who live in a different town. Usually because we have different schedules, they will send me an email with the question and I will do the reading and type it us and send it back. If you are new to tarot, you might need to test your connection and develop it.

Where can I buy tarot cards in Jakarta ?
with wide ranges of choice hopefully.. and not too costly
Where can I buy tarot cards in Jakarta ?
Best bet ?
Kinokuniya Bookstore at Plaza Senayan. I bought mine there, along with books about Tarot and stuffs. They have a lot of options and range of card decks.
Reply:Anything along those lines is going to be expensive here. Even in Western countries tarot cards are not by any means cheap.
Gramedia doesn't have them, I've cheaked before. Try QB Books, or Kinokuniya. They seem to have the best selection of books and accessories. Failing that, take a trip to Singapore on one of your visa runs and buy some there.
Reply:I bought mine in gramedia couple years ago. it was a wayang tarot. the price i think it was less than 50.ooo rupiah i believe. or u can try find one in magic shop.
Reply:Have a look on ebay, best place to find anything and usually good prices.

Can you give me an actual description on how to read tarot cards?
My aunt just sent me some a tarot card deckk, but the directions arent in english. everything else is, but weirdly, the directions arent. Can an experienced tarot reader give me an actual "lesson" on here on how to read them. I'd really appreciate it, and i honestly dont need any websites, ive already found some. id just like a brief but accurate "lesson" on how to read them. thank you all.
Can you give me an actual description on how to read tarot cards?
Decide on a layout. I would start with three cards in a row: the first is the past, middle is the present, third is the future.
Think of the question while shuffling the cards.
Pull three cards off the top of the deck and place them in a row on the table.
Combine the card positions with their meanings (use those websites) to get your reading.
Reply:get a good book, like Tarot for Dummies.
Let your mind wander through the stories that the cards form when laid out in a reading, and try to see how they relate to the issue at hand. Clear your mind and let your subconscious speak to you.
Reply:It takes more than a paragraph to learn tarot cards. And if you've found websites to use, I don't know what additional knowledge you're hoping we'll give you.
