Where can you buy tarot cards and do you know info about them?

Which stores or places would you suggest buying a pack of tarot cards?





Other than ebay or amazon or anything online.





And if anyone knows, I hear they are supposed to "call" to you. What does that mean and how do I know if a certain pack calls to me?

New Age shops stock them, %26amp; sometimes you can have a look at them if they have a deck opened. You can use the net to at least see what most decks look like even if you do not wish to buy online.





You know what deck is for you as you like them, simple as that.

Reply:Your local major bookstore carries them, just ask. You can get them from Barnes and Noble, Books A Million, Walden Books etc.





You'll know which deck is for you just the way you are drawn to read a good book. It will interest you, it will feel right, you'll want them.





The deck should come with a small book. You may find varying meanings but you have to practice and discover what's makes the most sense to you.





One hint: If a certain card lands in the 'self' position, especially a major arcana card, then it can really shed light on how you feel or the life path you are on.

As a deck calling you, it is more of you having a draw towards it.


One deck will seem to attract your attention more than others. I recommend that you choose a deck that has a theme that you already have an interest in.

Reply:Stay away from them, is my advice. They will eventually tell you the truth about yourself and your immediate future, and while that may sound attractive, sometimes it can be too much to bear. This is their dark side. You can't do anything to avoid misfortune, and already know of it. I abandoned them years ago. Too painful.
