IT IS ONLY A GAME, I mean come on Cards' lmao Cards ahaha its a game silly girl.
Reply:OK, if you go with that mindset you will just be wasting your money bc

1. Your not going to believe her

2. I don't think "they" are going to be to interested in helping someone who things they're a joke!

But i guess you know it all right, so why even ask the questions?
Reply:yes
Reply:Wow, so many hostile answers....

Just go for a laugh, have a good time, and don't let them talk you into buying anything....

Most times, when you run into someone who is doing a "psychic place" (I assume you mean a fortune teller), then it's just a fun bit of entertainment fluff, sometimes you get the ones who will try to scam you for more money...but it's usually just harmless fun.

Tarot can be a very useful spiritual tool, a way of peeking around in your subconcious, in a bit easier to deal with way...there usually will be some flashes of insight and intuition, but most of the time it's just taking advantage of all that unused computing power of the mind, just another way of letting the subconcious talk....

Then there will be the unexplained things that can happen, and that is where the real mystery will be located...
Reply:despite the naysayers and those who know nothing about it, it really depends on who does the reading.

There are charlatans, and there are those who are gifted. You can find both sorts.

It's like anything else. If you do your search with your mind already made up, well, that's called contempt without prior investigation. Investigation isn't reading a Chick bible tract, or a minister who already has his or her mind made up. If you wish to entertain these sorts only, you'll have nothing but opinion.

There is also the work of the American Psychical Society, who investigates the paranormal in a scientific fashion. The United States Government found enough cause to investigate psychic abilities for military purposes. It's not used, not because there is a complete lack of evidence, but because it's nature is not entirely predictable. The evidence showed that many people were able to, for example, remotely view, with accuracy far beyond what chance would predict, but because it is not 100% accurate, it could not be depended on in a military situation.

Such is the case with modern psychics. Their skill may be far beyond what could be accounted for by chance, but they aren't 100% accurate. Then there are those who read, rather than the cards, the people asking for a reading.

So, while you can find those whose only purpose is to separate you from your money, you can also find those who are quite skilled. Shop around.
Reply:if you have an open mind listen and if you hear truth cool if you hear bologna youll get your good laugh
Reply:They certainly work for the person charging money for a reading!

As far as psychics etc, just ask James Randy.
Reply:they are not. they fool you and you lead them on. if u're dumb enough to go to one u'll be dumb enough to fall for it and actually think about what they tell u so much in ur head that u will really believe it's happening. they play with ur mind and they take ur money. horaay!
Reply:They work for those who know how to read them...always be careful with what a "psychic" tells you, there isn't always a way to check their work.
Reply:As a psychic and experienced Tarot card advisor, I have been using the Tarot as a tool to help others for over 14 years.

There is nothing evil, demonic or negative about the Tarot cards themselves. The person who uses them may occasionally have sinister motives, though.

As far as experiences go, I have had several people come back to me telling me that my advice was "right on" and helpful.

For a humorous experience, I once did a reading for a woman and I told her I kept seeing a red truck. She kept telling me that she didn't have a red truck. I persisted and told her just to keep an eye out for one. Two weeks later, she came back to me. The week after my reading, her husband brought home her birthday present: a brand new, red truck.

So...if you want a good laugh, go ahead and go to one of these dime-store gypsy wanna-bes and let them try to freak you out or tell you the obvious stuff.

If you want a serious reading, then go in with a serious attitude and tell the reader that you're not in this for fun.
Reply:They sure do work, depending on how superstitious and stupid you are.
Reply:No, they just do not
Reply:It will reveal if you believe it will reveal. Honestly that is the best answer one can give you. If you do not believe it in, then it will not work foryou, however if you believe in it, then it will. This is due to the idea of the butterfly affect, all things affect another. It is important though you keep true to your beliefs during it.

You can also try on your own, tarot decks, tea readings, even circular ceremonies to call upon prosperity etc, if you believe is such as well.

If you are interested in this field, speak to a vender of the craft, one who sells spells, oils etc, they usually know alot, and can help you out. They may also beable to guide you in the right direction.

But I would try it. Taror cards are alot of fun, and the whole experience is really cool. plus having someone who really knows what they're doing do it, is also great. Have fun with it, it never hurts =]. But do becareful, the cards are very powerful.
Reply:I USED TO READ TAROT FOR A LIVING, so please listen to me.

Most of the time the reader is a very good judge of character and could pick up on what you wanted to hear the most. In other cases, (I have personally witnessed) the readings do work (for reasons that I as the READER could not explain), and you inviting demonic influence.

I'd advise you to stay away.
Reply:I had my palm's read about 6 months ago and yes it does work I was told to go and have a check up with the Doctors something was wrong with my female organs that is what he told me and two weeks later I lost the lining to my uterus.

Tarot Cards I do my own and yes within 6 months of the reading everything happens that is in the cards.

Give it a go or you will never know : )

Love %26amp; Blessings

Reply:Stay away from that stuff.. You can invite evil.
Reply:If you get an intuitive who really knows her craft and is compassionate towards the people she works for, also known as clients,....you will be in for quite a pleasant surprise......if not, you will just be in for a surprise.......

good luck

hope it works out the way you wish
Reply:I'd say save your money and buy a Tarot deck and an interpretation book yourself. And no, you don't have to be psychic to read cards, it's actually pretty simple. You can buy them either online, at a spirituality store (usually under "occult" in the Yellow pages), or at a chain bookstore like Barns %26amp; Noble.

The reason is that most of these people will take your money and then tell you whatever they want to tell you. They don't have to tell you the actual interpretation of the cards, or lay the cards out in an actual format. But if you're just going for a laugh, there's no harm in that either, and if you're lucky you might actually get a Tarot reader who's not a scam artist.

Good luck!
Reply:As a reader of Tarot, I assure you it can work. But people who sell their services cannot always be trusted. I once had my future read by a psychic on the street in Chicago and she used my class ring to determine how long a relationship would last. Needless to say, it was wrong, and she was probably a fraud.

Not to say where you are going will be a fake-out, but take it with a grain of salt, and an open mind. The future is a fluid entity, it always changes based on your actions.
Reply:22 years experience, 100s of "visits," 1000s of interviews, one conclusion.

NO

Not a one. Psychics, Tarot, Astrology, Palm reading, John Edward, etc. all bunk.
Reply:the tarot cards and the palm readings are real.and they do work for individuals.but the key is to believe in the cards.if you believe in the cards than they will work for you in your lifestyle.you have to let your mind and your spirit go to see the truth of the cards.if you cannot, than maybe the tarot cards are not meant for you to try.hope this helps.

bright and dark blessings,

Hekate's dark witch)O(
Reply:depends on the person you go to. my experience in reading cards is that it can suggest the answers to your problems , but you are a free agent to act or react to what is told to you.
Reply:Oh yea they work to a certain degree to keep you hooked. Satan can immitate anything God can do.
Reply:Tarot cards can tell you surprising things, but be wary of the readers. In my experience anything more than $30 for a reading is excessive. If they see a "horrible curse" that can be lifted if you pay them lots of money, run out the door, they are scam artists. The best tarot readers won't care what the question you ask the cards is until the last card has been read the first time through. Sometimes the question you ask is not the one answered, but one you needed to know about anyways.

Palm readings are easier to fake, but there are genuine readers out there. Unlike tarot, a palm reading will just tell you what is going in your life and your personality traits. The best prefer to read both hands starting with the non-dominant hand. Same as the tarot cards though, if there is a "curse" that needs to be lifted, be warned they are trying to scam the heck out of you.
Reply:you cant depend on any of it, you get a reading and its a toss up if the person is honest or not, then you walk out the door and you can take a totally different path than you were on when you went in the door, so then nothing makes any difference anymore.
Reply:Don't mess with that stuff. Satan will give them enough info to make you say....."OMG! This is real! There is no way she could of known that." But that is the extent of it. They just want your money. Don't be a sucker for it, like millions of others. Do something else.
Reply:Yeah, I've tried it. They are completely full of crap- about on level with fortune cookies. As you said, though, it's good for a laugh, and it'll be a neat story to tell your other friends. And hey, anybody can get lucky doing those readings. If it happens to come true, thats a REALLY fun story!
Reply:NO, they don't work. the only way they would is through demonic possession. Don't go, it's only opening your mind to satanic things. Only God can know the future, what ever he chooses to share with us is a privilege. Looking for it is against God's law.
Reply:It's a parlor game, pure and simple. It will entertain, but that's it.
Reply:fake crap is all made up its unholy if ur catholic
