What do you think of Tarot cards?

I was hard pressed to believe in Tarot cards but I was given a free reading by a friend. She said I was have a run-in w. the law and a death card was drawn. Within the next month I got pulled over for speeding and my mother-in law died. Now I'm not sure what to think.. kinda strange for a coincidence, or maybe not. What are your experiences?

What do you think of Tarot cards?
Nonsense.
Reply:you can use Any card,,, even name card,,, if you know the spiritual influences and the specific meaning

many just use spades, heart, club and diamond...

some people create their own premonition and make it happen
Reply:As someone that has been a reader for a number of years I can say taht the card them selves are nothing more than a focus for the ability of the reader, like a crystal ball, or ouija board. Mostly it is simply a matter of understanding the symbology of them and how they relate to the other card that come up. Like any tool the card can offer warnings, suggestions and insights into things that we may not be consciously aware of ourselves.

The best thing to do is to have a series of readings, see how much of the information you are given comes to pass and decide for yourself.
Reply:If they're used by someone who has understanding of how to use them, they can be a good tool. Any type of divination cards can be. Depends on whether the person using them has a gift for it.
Reply:Tarot cards are relay fun. You feel drawn to them just because you keep thinking about your incident. You can use them as well. Go to a spiritual shop and get a deck ones you feel are pretty or just drawn to these will be your personal deck, They will give you the most accurate answers. You do not live your life through them they just help you work though things and help reassure your direction. A good reader will never tell you someone will die that is disturbing. Every one has a life purpose and need to complete their own personal accomplishment in this lifetime, No one has the right to reveal someones destiny but the person himself or herself. Have fun with them you might want to check out numerology that's fun also.
Reply:Hmmm, the death card most likely wouldn't be your mother in law dying. The death card usually signifys a big change in yourself.

I love working with the tarot. They help people.
Reply:I have never had a reading done but several friends have and what the older lady told them came true within in a month or so, I would like to go and have a reading done but I do not want to go alone and right now none of my friends believe. When you went did you go alone and was it costly?
Reply:They are very interesting.
Reply:I read Tarot. The death card seldom means physical death it means a great change is coming in your life. Probably you also had the Justice card and it can mean a run in with the law but it can also mean a lot of other things. But yes, the cards don't lie because it is you who chose them. She only read them.
Reply:Here is a free download demo for a great Tarot program. To keep the size of the demo manageable it contains the Rider/Waite deck, the actual program will have 10 complete decks. This Demo version of Tarot is a full working copy for 30 days. So you get 30 days of free tarot readings! http://astrologysoftware.com/tarot/demo....
Reply:It's just like all of those things, best to stay away from them and go for what's real.
Reply:I am a tarot reader myself, I have two decks: the spiral tarot by Mary Stevenson and the Angel Orcale Cards by Doreen Virtue. Both are wonderful cards. I love tarot, its a great divination tool and a great way to see into things and possibly avoid some very sticky situations.
Reply:Tarot cards are very useful as long as the person knows what they are doing. Thats very strange about the death card because normaly the death card does not mean death, it most decks it just means change, its acctually a good card to get. With all things like this you just have to be careful.
Reply:That is an interesting reading, however I would like to point out that the Death card doesn't mean death but it means a change. It could be argued that the death of your mother-in-law does constitute a change in your life but just because the Death card is drawn doesn't always mean someone is going to die.

Blessed Be )O(
Reply:taro cards are delicious
