Is there an easy way to do tarot cards?

Is there an easy way to do tarots and remember the meanings and the sequences. I have dabbled a little. Is there an internet site to help or someone that has a pattern or a rhyme how they remember. I would be grateful of any help. Thankyou

Is there an easy way to do tarot cards?
Hello Kaye

I have studied the tarot for over 20 years %26amp; Im still picking new things up from them.

I now teach - so you join my yahoo group if you wish to practice etc.

I know of no patterns, rhymes etc. What you can do is start a little book of your own. When you study books on the tarot plus study the tarot themselves - write down what the card feels like to you, what it says to you.

As you develop with the tarot you will build a relationship with them, %26amp; this can take time. There is no quick way to learn them.

Sit %26amp; be still with a card at a time - really get a feel for each card.

Stick to upright until you fully understand them before venturing into the reversed.

Good luck - they are a wonderful tool for personal %26amp; psychic development.

Reply:I have written small hints on the backs of my cards to remind me what they are for. This has helped me to remember what I have learned.

Until you are practised, don't feel ashamed of using notes, books, etc.

Be sure to cleanse your Tarot before each reading. This is done through visualization, incense, and blowing on them.
Reply:yeah dont do them. they are not of god.
Reply:When I was just starting, I would memorize one card. Then memorize another, and always state both cards when you're remembering. Add a third, always remembering the others at the same time. Even today, years later, I might go through the deck on my way to work in the morning, just to keep them in mind. The more you work with the tarot, the more cards you will remember. Many long time practitioners still refer back to their books ocassionally.
Reply:I've been trying for a while to find ways to remember certain things so I don't have to always look up the meanings of a card.

So far, I've found that the swords suit is an unhappy one for the most part. And the chalices suit is a sort-of happy one.
