About tarot cards?

out of the whole Tarot Deck, how many cards or which cards are suppose to be on reverse? i'm learning Tarot but i feel a little stuck on the fact that i do not know that much about reverse cards....can anybody tell me, how many cards are supposed to be on reversed? and which ones??/ thanks a lot

How many card that are turned are down to individual, some prefer a few some a quarter or even half the deck. You do not choose which card you reverse.





Some none at all.





Reversing the cards is best done once you have fully studied the upright, %26amp; like said not a neccesity to proficient tarot reading.





If you wish to work clairvoyantly with the tarot then reversed will be of no importance.

Reply:I have a hard time finding the time to work with my cards. The few times I have tried to work with them I found Tarot is not my strong point. I'm drawn more to dream interpretation and candle Magick.





A good book to try is Tarot for dummies.

Reply:Reverse just means that the card is up side down when laid out. When reading Tarot you can choose to read it as reversed or to ignore the reversal and read as normal. Tarot is only a tool for developing your own intuition. The reading comes from your inner connection to the sacred. Placing rigid inflexible meanings on the cards or their placement turns it into a meaningless game. All symbols can be interpreted in many different ways, the reading comes through your interpretation.

Reply:There are no specific cards, or number of cards that are read as reversed. As Tamara said, reverse meanings are for those cards which when drawn from the deck appear upside down. Some decks don't even have reversals. I am fairly new to Tarot so I don't read reversals at all - I try to shuffle so they are all upright and if not I just turn it around.

Reply:Tarot cards are a high form of witchcraft, and should not be played around with. They are not a game, and they are not a toy. I used to use them, and I will not give you information that will help destroy you emotionally. Here's what to do with them: throw them away. Give me all the "thumbs down" you want, I ain't budging.
Reply:I just start with the deck all upright and "spirit" changes them if a reverse position is needed in the deck. I also have a very visual deck that taught me to listen to intuitive nature , by just "seeing" the card , Egyptian Cartouche is a very good start out deck . Listen to your inner guide that is what using a Tarot t is teaching .
Reply:My sister at one time started experimenting with tarot cards. The cards came up that all kinds of horrible things were going to happen to her, and then horrible things started happening to her. When she quit messing with the cards, the horrible things stopped.





There is power in those cards, but you do not want that kind of power.





OK, let's take an honest look at what is going through your head: If you are interested in tarot cards, then you must believe that there is a spirit world. If you didn't believe that you wouldn't have any interest in them. They are not just for luck. They operate spirits. What operates luck anyway?





The spirits that are operated by these cards are satanic spirits. What I would like to know is that if you are going to operate in the spiritual, why would you want to choose the side that works against you, and in the end looses?
Reply:I don't read any "reversed." It's complex enough without doubling up the confusion. Besides, my cards are too tempermental for too much variety.
