I'm looking into tarot cards and their cousins. Can you give me some good sources for info, what set you use, some good keywords to google?

You can't beat the site Keltasia posted to look at all kinds of Tarot and Oracle decks.





I only own a few decks...the Rider Waite, which I usually recommend for beginners because so many of the online courses use it, or one of its clones. The symbolism is easy to learn.


My personal favorite is the Gilded Tarot, it's a Waite clone and the artwork is gorgeous.

I use %26amp; teach with the Rider Waite, a good deck not just for those starting out %26amp; it comes in many vareties.





There are many cards that are off shoots of tarot as well as card such as Doreen Virtues decks etc.

Reply:I'd go with Angel Cards. They are cheap, and they usually come with a book. Now, remember, the meanings of the cards are just a path for you. You and only you can decipher the meanings of the cards through empathy. Also, you can't do readings on yourself. Your energy screws with the cards energy. It's better to have someone else do it who doesn't have so much influence. God bless! :)
