Can you talk to God through tarot cards?

ok, so i know it says in the bible that you're not supposed to talk to spirits but could you use tarrot cards and ask God to guide the tarot cards? the bible really confusess me, so please forgive my ignorance.

Reply:Tarot cards, like any other divination tool, is just that, a tool. It gives you possible futures using the path you currently follow, but if you deviate from that path, the outcome will change. It is not a way to commune with spirits, it is a way to know yourself better. You, in the long run, are the one who makes the prediction true or false by your decisions and actions.

I read tarot and before I do a reading, I acknowledge that my higher self (subconscious) will be able to guide me to the answer I seek ONLY because my Higher Self is the part of me that is most receptive to other's and the Lord's messages. Ive been able to help people with my readings. From family members, to total strangers i have met online, everyone is amazed by the accuracy of my results. some even try to pay me but I don't accept payment, I do it because I really believe it is God's will for me to help others with my gift. However, if someone wants to insist on paying, I ask them to donate to their church or charities benefiting children. I feel tarot cards a wonderful way to spread Christianity. Many people want to see hard evidence before they are willing to believe in God. A tarot reading is a wonderful way to prove God's existence to a total stranger.Think about it, if God didn't exist, how else would a total stranger be able to tell you so much about yourself, just by looking at a deck of cards? I know it is God who is communicating with me through my cards and not a demonic entity. I highly doubt an evil spirit will go through the trouble of communicating with me just so I could turn around and raise money for The Church and feel a deeper connection with God.

Reply:The answer to your question is NO! The only people who can sometimes have an audience with God/Father are either Adepts or highly ranked personages, such as a Lord of Lapika.

Reply:I know there are going to be many here who don't agree with this, but when I do read tarot, I ALWAYS call upon God to show me what it is that I need to know, because I am aware that there are other spirits that can lead us astray if we don't protect ourselves. I also cleanse my cards and consecrate them once a year also.





My mother who is a VERY devout christian also reads tarot.
Reply:Tarot cards are part of the occult paraphenalia and an obomination to the Lord. He abhors the seeking out spirits or sources of direction other than Himself. It's nothing to be confused about. He wants us to pray to Him, to read His Word, and listen to the urgings of the Holy Spirit. He's very clear on this and each time the Israelites turned to spirits, witches, etc. they were severely punished by God. If they continued, He killed them. It is very serious disobedience even today. God does not change. The only reason people aren't struck down today for this offense (I'm talking about God's believers) is that we live in the age of Grace, which falls just before judgement of the world. Our last chance to come to God and be redeemed before Christ's return. Please forget the tarot cards, dear, for they will open the door for Satan to come to you personally. God doesn't use things like tarot cards, or any other thing of the devil to speak to us. He speaks today through the Holy Spirit. Seek Him and you will find Him. Meditate on the Word and He will open up it's meaning to you. Turn to the occult and you step out from under God's protection and invite all sorts of evil into your life. Obedience to God's Word is better than any other way by far.
Reply:There's really no need to. I'm not going to limit God and say that he can't speak to us in any number of different ways, but we don't need "tools" to speak with Him.





God have given us the gift of prayer. We have the awesome gift to be able to speak with God on a spiritual level simply by talking to Him.





Read the Psalms. You don't have to necessarily get wrapped up in the message of them. But just look at how they are put together, written, or spoken. Then realize that all the Psalms really are is prayers to God. It will help you out when learning how to pray and communicate with God. Also, you can check out Matthew 6, it's in that passage the the disciples ask Jesus how to pray and he gives us the Lord's prayer.





I know that if you are a new believer, or non-believer, that prayer can be intimidating and seem like that there is some secret code that you have to learn to be able to do it right. Truth is some of the best prayers I've ever heard were from people who "didn't know how" because they simply said to God what was on their mind.





Trust me, the more you pray, the more recognizable the voice of God becomes.

Well have you noticed that God the Most High tries to communicate with you in something that He made. Tarot cards are MAN MADE. God likes to use things that are very special like

all these things HE created. unlike TAROT CARDS.

You cannot talk to God through tarot cards, no more than God can talk to you through tarot cards. God's means of communication with His children is first, in the Bible. Second, its through prayer. Third, its through mediation. After that, its probably through worship, fasting, and serving Him.





Joshua 1:8, "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."
Reply:No. God is not going to talk thru evil spirits. Thru God's Holy Word, we come to know Him and He guides us and teaches us. We talk to God thru His Son, Jesus Christ. You must come to God thru His Son only. There is no other way to God. God gives us the Holy Spirit when we accept and believe in Jesus Christ. We repent of our sins, obey and follow Jesus. Reply:Having been a person who used to experience in witchcraft, I can tell you that you can speak to demons through tarot cards. Demons are smarter and more powerful that we give them credit for. They have been around for so long and are well able to tell us what we'd like to hear.


However, God is ALL powerful (praise his name) and he loves you. If you need to get in touch with Him, Confess, repent, ask him to save you, then read your bible. Watch Him put people in your life and create circumstances that will end up being the answer to what you were praying for.


Remember though, just like a parent, God will give you advise to follow. If you follow it you will be blessed, if not, then the outcome is what it will be.


God is good too. Which means that when you ask for something that is not good for you the answer will be,"No."


Sometimes Gos will say, "Wait" because the time is not right yet. But if you ask rightly and according to His good and perfect will, then the answer will always be "Yes!"





Here is some scripture from John. it is just before the passover, they are in hiding because the Pharacees want Jesus and the disciples dead. This is one of the last times Jesus has with them. I is a very intimate setting where Jesus is engouraging them and sharing his heart with his disciples before the crucifixion.:

If you believe this then you should have no trouble connecting wiht God in prayer. Listen with your heart, see with your eyes and wait expectantly fo ran answer from God to all you prayers. Remember Jesus answere EVERY prayer, :Yes, NO," or, "WAIT".
