Special tarot cards as gift to someone special?

A friend of mine loves tarot cards... i do not know anything about this. What can I get that would be very special for her?

Well you could get her a gift certificate or you could buy her a membership with the American Tarot Association. Of course, as president of the ATA I might be a weeee bit prejudiced.





I think a gift certificate is the best way to go because there are sooo many different decks! I personally own around 80!
Reply:i know that she will love anything you intend to deliver to her its been said if you can bring her with you and she will pick the cards for her self you would be still giveing them to her make sure she has a clear mind before you take her and she will love you for it if shes not in the same state as you then i would say to you fairydecks are always nice .good luck and blessed be .

That way she can pick out the perfect deck for herself!

than find the one that match her personality... don't do the rider Waite... so bloody boring!
Reply:Tarot cards sound like an interesting gift for an interesting friend. I think it's most definitely approate for a female friend.
Reply:Well it depends on what she likes and her interests are - there are some really lovely cards and you should pick ones for looks. It may be best to stick to standard tarot cards - rather than Phoenix or Goddess decks and look for ones that have major arcana and regular cards - (wands, coins, cups, or swords etc) just because that way you don't have to worry about her not knowing how to read them and for simplicity sakes... The important thing is that you choose what pulls you in and what you feel that she would like and appreciate. There is no wrong tarot to give :)

Reply:If you know what sort of thinks she likes you can probably get her a deck geared towards that.





I've also heard of artists doing pieces imortalising you as one of the tarot cards, I can't remember all the details, but you can probably find an artist willing, and if you know her personal tarot card (star signs are linked to certain cards) you could get that done, or just a card she particularly likes.
