Dose any one belive in tarot cards ie hav them rearly worked?
there is absolutely no reason why tarot cards could or should work. People just want to believe cr*p like this.

While you're at it... question the existance of god.
Reply:Yes. I have been reading for myself and friends for 13+ years.
Reply:Its one of those subjective things in life... if you beleive it might work for you if you dont then you will just ignore them. I think that people should be open mimded enough to give things a try and give them a chance to work... if they dont work out for you then thats all you can do. I've had them read a couple of times and both times some of the things I was told actually happened but the other half of the things still havent so its a hit or miss for me. I personally think that some reputable people will try to help you out and others are just out to scam you... its all 50/50.
Reply:i dont
Reply:When you are comfortable with relaxing and slowing your mind, a good way to develop psychic ability is to play with a set of tarot cards.

Find a deck with images you FEEL connected with. This means pictures you like and relate to in some way.

For instance I like the Hanson Roberts deck, the Robin Wood Tarot and the Connolly Tarot Deck. I don’t like the darker cards like Crowley’s Thoth Tarot, but each to their own. One of the most popular decks is the Rider-Waite Tarot. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/develop-ps...
Reply:About as much as voodoo.
Reply:I don't believe but I had them read once before

and It told me I was dealing with legal problems and I was at the time. So I just laughed and said it was fun anyway. I think if you feel you need to depend on readings that's a choice of your choosing.
Reply:well, tech. it's not so much the cards as the person reading them i believe (if you believe in it) and wither you believe in the channeling of a spirit to read into destiny or not, this much can be said about tarot cards. the reading guidelines are vague enough that you can read into the personality of the person and easily make an assessment that could make a person feel you have read their past present and future. i feel things of this nature are great for personal insight if you need it, but don't become obsessed with them, especially if you get a "bad" reading.. because you can cause things to come true that wouldn't have otherwise.. it's called a self fulfilling prophecy.. where you believe something so much you actually make it happen... now, i personally do believe that there is more to this life and that things of this nature are sometimes right on the money.. but psychology can too easily duplicate such things to put too much faith in the average $20 dollar read your palm gimmick.
Reply:they are for entertainment purposes only. lots of people believe in them, but lots of people believe in countless things that aren't necessarily real e.g. the divinity of the mortal man and politician, jesus christ. =-o
