Do You Believe That Tarot Cards tell the Truth?

I know it seems silly, but I do. Right before my mom got hit by a car she had a tarot reading that said 'danger in the streets'. Also, right before she had me a tarot reading said she would get pregnant. And right before my Aunt died the cards said that she would lose a loved one.

Thoughts?

Do You Believe That Tarot Cards tell the Truth?
tarot is a guide. i have had very good readings and also some bad ones. don't use it to make all your decisions. time is very fluid, and what you do today can change what will happen tomorrow.

if i'm giving a reading and i don't feel the connection i'll stop. that has happened a couple of times.

i have never charged for a reading.

bright blessings to you
Reply:When you've been told your Tarot by someone you have a good gut feeling about, you know instinctively that you can trust and believe them.
Reply:I've never met a card yet that told the truth.

The streets are always dangerous. There are wrecks every day.

Many women get pregnant. The reading had to have been at least 9 months before she had you.

People lose loved ones all the time.
Reply:The card tell you what you need to know, not always what you want to hear.

However, that being said, I tend to use them for spiritual advice rather than practical advice.
Reply:Tarot cards are merely a 'tool'. Anyone can claim to 'read' them, but only someone with a psychic or clairvoyant gift can impart any semblance of truth.

The depictions on the cards are generalisations ~ they all have deeper meanings, and a good reader knows that the meaning at that time of each card in the spread is related to those around it.

As someone who has used tarot cards, I know that you can transfer your energies to the cards, so readings can be wildly inacurate if you are in a bad mood!

But really, don't use the cards for major decisions in your life.

Everything is subjective, Fate is not fixed, and everything we do sets another chain of events in motion.

Blessed Be :)
Reply:Absolutley not.Just like your horoscope, some days its on ,some not.My answer is:no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,n... CAN YOU HEAR ME KNOW?
Reply:they have always been right for me.
Reply:To answer your question - no, I don't believe it.
Reply:I used to read tarot cards.

It is a scam.

The trick is to learn about your "client / Pigeon" as much as you can while reading the first cards so that you can make educated guesses while reading the last cards.

There is not "street" in tarot so someone added that interpretation on their own.
Reply:Its funny you ask that cuz I got a reading yesterday that seemed remarkably factual! I have my beliefs and my disbeliefs, but Im kinda thinkin there may be "somethin to it" if you know what I mean!
Reply:Cards are not conscious beings,no.
Reply:I'm not sure. I can't divinate to save my life so it's never happend to me. BUT I am super intutive. I always have been. It's one of the reason I am so fascinated by psychology. Some would call me empathic (I shy away from that personally) My point is we all have "gifts". Some people think mine is "weird" so who am I to judge others? Plus to be honest I have never gotten a reading done from someone who knows what the hell they are doing. LOL
Reply:if you truly believe they do

then yes they do

just like christians truly believe god exists

to them he exists

no matter what your belief is, if you belief in it with fervor, then its true
Reply:No. Coincidence.
Reply:I believe that they can be true and the some people are able to know these things, but I also believe some people are scam artists that play on your reactions. Whether or not it's a scam I believe that is not right, If your searching for answers consult the Bible or pray for answers, this will strengthen I relationship with GOD greatly. I get the eerie voo doo magic feeling about fourtune tellers, I believe it's all completely evil and dangerous to play with.
Reply:They can... if the forces of evil want them to... but mostly they are just deceptions.... the forces of evil know all about every one.. they can tell the truth or they can lie... mostly they just generalize so broadly that any interpretation has an equal chance of being right... or wrong...
Reply:no but prayer is real..
