Why tarot cards, etc.?

Why would some turn to tarot cards, psychics, crystal balls, palm readings, and such and not turn to the Lord God Almighty?

Why tarot cards, etc.?
Some people unfortunately don't believe in Him.
Reply:Six of one, half-dozen of another.
Reply:believe it or not the good lord almighty speaks to the psychics, how do you think they know all this information, god only tells them what they need to know. my son is psychic and my mother. although crystal balls dont do a thing..lol dont go to those people. psychics are not quite as common as they appear. If you believe in God you should believe in psychics, although some are fakes. Ok I could write a book about this subject so ill end it now..lol
Reply:Some parts in the bible say it's wrong, other parts say it's part of God's plan. As with everything else, the bible is a little on the fickle side. I'd say if you don't like it, don't do it, and don't worry about what someone else is doing.
Reply:Why pick one myth over another?
Reply:Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine ; but wanting to have their ears tickled , they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires,
Reply:Laziness.
Reply:First, many believe that the Christian god is illusory, i.e., not a god at all.

Secondly, many Christians have not received the guidance they wanted or prayed for from the Christian god, which certainly doesn't serve to confirm its omnipotence and omniscience, to say the least.

Thirdly, the Tarot, psychics, mediums, etc., offer people a way of gaining intuitive insight and even, on occasion, direct messages from loved ones and/or Guides in The Light on the Other Side.

Their are psychics and mediums within every culture and traditional faith on this planet. Which means that a good many of them do not believe in the Christian god and still, on occasion, receive accurate information. Which is another indication that the Christian god has no monopoly on higher awareness and intuitive insight.
