I need help can anyone tell me if tarot cards gave you an accurate answer about a future happening ?

Can anyone say if a tarot reading told you something important about your future do they say the truth can they predict what will happen or are they just fake ways of guessing events?

I need help can anyone tell me if tarot cards gave you an accurate answer about a future happening ?
Can Tarot Predict the Future?

The Tarot, an ancient card set, is but a tool like other tools, we may use to focus. If we get a valid answer or not depends on how we use the tools.

Like with all spiritual insights, it is important that we are in the Alpha state (calmed brain waves, scientifically measurable) in order to calm fear, worries or doubts. When we are of a neutral mind, we may be able to tune into wisdom and truth using the cards, as with other tools.

The cards are but helpers to demonstrate how the energies are flowing toward the future event we have asked about. The question must be phrased as yes or no question, one issue at a time, otherwise the answer will be confusing.

If we have tuned in correctly, we will get answers that show how the energies are flowing right now concerning our question. If the energies are satisfactory, we may look forward to the outcome in life.

If the energy flow is not satisfactory, we can change it right there and then! For it is not the cards that make the future, but our fears, hopes and confidences, often on a deep unconscious level. It is not advisable to let the negative outcome remain unchanged, for then we tend to focus on the fear and create the negative we fear! That's why many say, "Stay away from the cards." Yes we should stay away, if we do not use the tool properly, as we should stay away from a saw if we do not use it properly and hurt ourselves!

Why would the Tarot work as focussing tool?

We really do not need a tool. We can focus just like that and get answers, no tool needed. How can this be? Don't we have to learn?

All is one and there is only one consciousness and that is everywhere, in everything, at all times. When we focus, we are merely looking for little whirls in the stream of consciousness - and we can change the whirls! We are never the victims, unless we agree to be the victims, be it on an unconscious level.

Example

Relatives of an older woman wanted to know if their aunt would marry a certain man. She kept secretive about it. The aunt and the man had been friends for decades, but he was married when they met and her fiancé had died. Yet both, as Christians, would hold his marriage holy. After his wife had died, they got closer together as friends. The relatives asked the Tarot. The Tarot said they would marry! And sure enough, they did. The relatives knew it before the couple announced their happy wedding!

When we tune in correctly, ask a clear question, are neutral when asking, the answer should be correct as to the present flow of energy. However, the flow can also change down the road of time. If we have doubts, we may change the flow in a negative way by our doubts. The process is a very subtle but powerful one, like the unseen wind. That's why the wind became a symbol of the Spirit.

The same is true for a reader. Not every reader can correctly tune in, and none at all times. Yet, few may say so or postpone the reading when they feel they are disconnected.

The inner feeling will tell if the answer is right, feels right, if there is a willingness to hear the truth about the energy flow with no fear, eagerness, ambition, greed or else. We must be in Alpha or beyond, neutral, loving. Then the Tarot as a tool works fine like any other tool, when used properly.

You may want to try the ancient I Ching. By the help of a book, you can use it as a tool yourself. Since three coins are thrown three times while focussing on a question, the mind is a kind of set aside. The answer is like with the Tarot, dependent on how we perceive the energy flow. If we do not like it, we can clear our system of negativity, fear, doubt and else, and turn it to a positive knowing that all will be well. If this is difficult at first, the Bio*Chakra Light MeditationTM may help (wwww.biochakra.com).

Why not picture a bright and loving future daily, and it may be created by our thoughts.

Reply:I guess that depends on if you have the gift of reading them correctly. Many people can divine the future and there are several ways of doing this. IF you are not comfy with the cards try Runes or pendulums. Tarot cards are set up in a certain way to attract the power of the elements. But if you haven't studied elemental power you wouldn't know that. I have used Tarot cards with alot of success. But everyone has something different. Good luck.
Reply:It's not only the cards but also the one reading the cards. Tarot cards can never be accurate but there are some readers that I've been to who, in their reading of my "past" are right on the dot. Of course, you can't tell about your future but they can give you the general terrain if you want to take a certain path.
Reply:no. they don't give accuracy
Reply:the bible claims these are true but stay away from that stuff as it also says it's power comes from evil not good.
Reply:Tarot is something to help you focus an issue %26amp; help you determine what will happen if you choose a particular course of action.

Even though we cannot always control what is happening in our lives, it can provide insight regarding the best way to react to a ceratin situation.

Nothing is ever set in stone.
Reply:I don't think they can predict the future, but I think they might help you clarify your feelings about a certain event or something in your life.
Reply:They help you understand about how you feel about yourself and your situation and plans. In my experience they do not predict the future. They are not fake, they are a lot like praying for example to god. They help you sort out your feelings.
Reply:i think they do work cause my mum had it done to her by a profesional and she got the marrige card. about 1 month later, my cosin got married.
Reply:yes, i was very young, but my grandmother had a reading done that told her that she would experience enormous suffering and eventually death. Three months later we found out she had cancer and was terminal. She died three months later. Is it a coincidence? You can judge for yourself, but i'm a firm believer in tarot cards.
Reply:They could only in the sense that they help you turn your mind inwards and reflect on your state of mind and the problems around you. As for a bunch of cards actually predicting your future, I don't think so.
Reply:The quick answer is No. The future is never definite, and any good fortune teller will tell you that tarot is nothing more than a trendline. It's based on an idea that things behave in synchronous ways and that the chance that you would draw certain cards means that those cards relate to your current trend. As with all things the future can be changed. You don't have to lose your job or marry a specific person because the cards told you so.

Besides, tarot card reading is intentionally vague. It's not meant to give you a specific answer on anything, only the outlines.
Reply:Tarot cards give you an idea of where you are and where you will be in teh future based on decisions that you have made, and are in the process of making. They are like sign posts...or guides, if you will. Based on that reading, you can either decide to go on as you were before, or make different decisions..which will then mean that the outcome of the reading changes. It's still all about you, and your decisions.....the tarot cards are just like a map of where you are now.
Reply:Like bonesofa teacher says, Tarot cards help you understand how you feel. They don't tell you anything that you don't already know. They are a tool to know yourself better. The goal is for them to help us see a side of ourselves that we can't normally see. They don't predict the future. Nothing can do that because the future isn't written yet.
Reply:yes, a deck of cards can accurately predict your future....

LMAO

the way those things work is that they tell you vague stuff, and then you go looking for what it says and you see what they say in an event and think it worked. its a load of bull
Reply:Tarot Card Readings really just provide guidance. I had a tarot reading done to me in February this year (why not?) and so far, it's accurate. She said in March I will go through a major transition in my life and I will suffer from loneliness and others will criticize me (yikes!). Turns out, my job relocated me from Florida to Colorado in MARCH and I was VERY lonely and sad since I was away from family and friends. I almost didn't believe the part about being criticized since I thought I was getting along with everyone at my new job location, but I eventually found out that lots of people at my job were talking CRAP about me, which made me a believer. The tarot reader said a lot more stuff, such as meeting a guy (hasn't happened yet), and I found the whole thing to be interesting.

I didn't tell her ANYTHING about myself. I just shuffled the cards and she "read" them. Believe what you want, but I'm a very open-minded person and I think that if you're curious about Tarot Readings, then get one! Do it face-to-face though, not over the phone.
Reply:It's all fake.
Reply:do u honestly think if they could tell the future that they would be reading cards .if they could read the future they would be in vegas making millions .
Reply:Unfortunately, NOTHING can predict the future - not tarot cards, tea leaves or so-called "psychics" (who are either scam artists or naively mistaken).

We are all free-willed beings who make choices and our "future" is the cumulative result of the free-willed choices of all parties involved in that future. No one knows for certain what choices you are going to make until you actually make those choices.

Think about it, if even 10% of the "fortune tellers" out there were legitimate, they should have been able to foresee the horrible events of the past few years (9/11, Katrina, the Tsunami, etc.). If they can't "foresee" these massive, catastrophic events influencing hundreds of thousands of people, how could they possibly claim to see the future of a single individual?

If you have fun with tarot readings, palmistry, horoscopes or any other paranormal activities, I'd say go ahead and keep enjoying them as an amusing game. However, these activities have no more connection to the "real world" than a game of "Monopoly" or "Candy Land".
Reply:That is a "yes and no" answer. It all depends on many factors. The first is the reader, and how intune they are. I have had readings done that were very accurate, yet I have also had some that only gave "guidelines". Another factor is the question you ask. If your question is not very specific, you will get a vague answer, and once again it is how good the reader can interpret the cards. The other factor invloved is what the cards reveal. Also a reader sometimes has to "temper" what is shown. Many people when they see the Death card believe it means a physical death. It is actually a card of change, a warning for you to change what ever direction you are going. The acutuall death card is in the suit of Swords. The 7 of swords to be exact. That one means a physical death, but also an conceptual death. There are some out there that claim to be "spiritual mediums" and have little shops and such, becareful there. If you are looking for someone that is experienced in doing readings here is some guidelines. If you can find someone that will give you a free reading take it (what do you have to lose?) Also check with a local occult shop they usually have cards and flyers in the store about tarot readers, and don't be affraid to ask questions, how long have they been doing readings, ect. Don't pay more than 20 dollars for a basic reading, and don't come back if they say you need to. They are scamming you then. If they say that there is a curse on you and you need to come back to have it removed for X amount of dollars, don't do it and call the police, they are scam artists. You must feel comfortable with the person who will be doing your reading for the energies to be good.
Reply:No, how can a piece of cardboard have any foreknowlege of the future. Pure foolishness.
