Why do they say tarot are evil? you fear what you don't understand. I think it all goes back to the "dark ages" when anything enlightening was discouraged.
Why do people say tarot cards are witchcraft/evil? Can anyone give me a true story proving it?
I have been reading Tarot for years. Nothing evil about it. People only condemn what they don't understand and cannot control.
Reply:What is "witchcraft/evil?" Are you saying that witchcraft is, by definition, evil? Nonsense; I'm a witch, and I'm not evil. And my friends who are witches are not evil, either. (Well, that's my FRIENDS! Of course there are such things as evil witches.)
"An ye harm none, do what thou will." A very basic rule with witches. Make sure what you want to do is not going to harm someone else. Then choose according to you own will.
Another traditional rule is called the three-fold law. Whatever you do returns to you three-fold. Obviously, it is in one's interest to do good, not evil.
I've been reading Tarot cards for over 30 years.
Reply:There are some verses in the Bible that talk about this kind of 'witchcraft' and people use this reference to condemn it.
