i need help using tarot card i just got a deck at a local barns and nobles bookstore it came with a book but i still dont understand how to read them i need like very detailed steps and a good and easy spread. can someone please help?
Can someone give me info on how to use tarot cards?
AlwaysRight, you are WRONG
What makes you think they are demon possessed?? good grief, that is so untrue.
and yes you have your fakes, but tarot is real.
This is how you read tarot. You must have personal protection over your mind, body, and spirit. So nothing evil can attack you. When doing a reading on someone else put protection over them as well, (this is energy, protection energy. I suggest not reading other peoples tarot untill you know ALOT more)
Light insense, any of your choice, and a candle.
Insense is not needed but I it kinda gets the energies stirring a little more.
Alright, with your tarot deck, put the booklet aside ad any tarot interpritation books you have. Tarot is about what YOU see in the cards. Not what a book tells you.
For example. Lets say you get a card that has a young woman with two pitchers of water, one pitcher is blue, another is red. she is neeling down next to a creek pouring water from the red pitcher into the creek and smiling, as the water from the pitcher hits the creek water it turns blue(darker blue than the water). and flows down ..
Now, I see this as a broken and healing heart.
The woman is smiling because she is going to make i through the thing that made her heart break, the red pitcher, i believe symbolizing Love, she pours the water out and it turns blue as it hits the creek water, i believe that means she pours her heart out and it heals. so maybe she was in a very bad relationship and is finally becoming open about it?
in the blue pitcher i would guess would hold water that would turn red when it merges with the creek water. Healings color that I recognize it by is Blue. So with that blue pitcher, she will pour the water into the creek, to justify that her heart will be healed and she will make it through this hard time stronger than ever.
Note that this is a real card that I have read for someone before, se said I was right on the dot.
Easy spread is Past Present and Future,
you shuffle the cards untill youfeel comfortable, uhm cut them into three parts i think? I cant remember. Past is left, present is middle and future is right. while shuffling asking a question and concentrate on it, and that question alone.
There are lots of online spreads I bet. I dont really do alot of spreads, I acctually havnt read alot of tarot, Im not allowed to read it right now because I am having alot of mental problems, mainly memory, concentration other stuff like that (I have epilepsy). Im not a mental nut case, dont worry. lol
So reading are not good at the time.
Hope i helped.
Also, if you have problems reading the cards, like you cant connect with them. Then they are not the right cards for you.
This may take a while to find the right deck of tarot cards that you feel a connection with, but its worth it in the end :)
Took me forever to find a deck with the chalices, wands, swords and stuff on them! Found the deck when a really good friend gave them to me, I was like.. OMG
was using a different deck that dont have all that, but I connect with those better.... *sigh*
Anywho. Hope I helped you !! Good luck, and remember, be very careful!
Reply:Why would you want to?
Tarot card readers are either fake or demon possesed.
Which do you want to be?
Reply:You might want to go with more than the little white book that comes with most tarot cards. I personally order a new tarot book every couple of months read it and add to my knowledge. Learning tarot requires time and dedication.
I suggest you start with a simple book if you have not done Tarot readings before.
I find the book "Power Tarot" to be the most useful of my collection. I ordered it online I guess you can find it at B%26amp;N or Amazon. I use it as my main tarot manual becuase it comes with answers to specific things, like if you have a health-related question, it tells you what spread to use and what the answer is for the specific question based on the cards you get. At this early a stage I would recommend you avoid books that are heavy on tarot symbollism as those books will confuse you (as they did me). So avoid special topics books and stick with simple guides to start with.
Most books will tell you about the Celtic Cross reading. If you ask me this is an advanced reading that I honestly did not master yet and I have been doing Tarot for 2 years now. I suggest you start with smaller readings, like 1-card readings and 3-card readings.
Here are a couple of good websites on tarot:

http://www.tarot.com
Happy readings.
Reply:there isnt any right or wrong way to read them you open your feelings and see what you see and interperet it there are no detailed directions in divination. some people have the talent some dont and im not saying that you dont have that you just need to forget learning and go with your feelings. the book will give you ideas as to what the meaning of the card is but that has nothing to do with the way you read it.
but what you can do to get to know your cards: do several readings on yourself things u know or would like to know and lay the cards out in wichever layout you like. then take the book and find each card and read what it says in succession and decide how you want to take the meanings from the placement of the cards.
Reply:I have been a tarot card reader for over 25 years. The first thing to do is to light a white candle before you begin working with the cards. An easy spread is a 3 card spread. You ask a question while you shuffle the cards, then after you cut the cards (this should be in the directions you received) lay 3 cards down face up from right to left. The right card will give the past of the situation, the middle the present and the left the future. Remember that tarot cards provide information about situations. When it comes to interpretations, there are some good books out there to give you basic interpretations. Study these and practice. After awhile, you'll be able to "feel" what the cards are trying to tell you. It takes time to get there, but if you are willing to work at it, you will be able to do it and do it well.
Reply:Read this to learn how to develop psychic ability. You will first need to know how to relax your mind to alpha before you practice with your Tarot Cards. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/develop-ps...
I'm a Psychics Coach and I always recommend discarding the tarot instructions. That's only if you want to develop you psychic skills.
Reply:For a good beginner guide to reading tarot try this site: http://www.informationsourcebook.com/tar...
They sell an ebook that has a lot of good info for the beginner on what the cards mean, how to read spreads and how to develop your skill and intuition.
Hope this helps.
Reply:Pick them all, one by one, and throw them into the fire.
Reply:PUT BABY LOTION ON THEM FIRST
Reply:There is no right or wrong answer, u need to find a way you are confortable with.
I usually shuffle the cards and concentrate very hard while doing this about a particular question.
Then I deal 10 cards.
1. The central issue (the question u asked
2. obstacles (problems/what is holding u back
3. Past
4. Recent
5. Possible (something that could possibly come out from your actions)
6. Approaching (something that will happen)
7. Self
8. Others
9. Hopes %26amp; Dreams
10. The outcome (answer to the question)
Deal the 10 cards out infront of you in a spread that u find comfortable and then go back to the book and read what each card you have dealt out means
Bascicallly, the representations for the minor arcana are
swords - fights, conflicts, arguments
coins - money, finances
cups - love, family, relationships, feelings, emotions
wands - work, career
if a card is reversed it is usually the negative and positive if its the right way up.
Or you could just pull out 3 cards and do a basic past present future reading for yourself
