Hey,I was just wondering do you have to put tarot cards in order before each time you shuffle them for a reading? Thanks!
Do you have to put tarot cards in order each time you shuffle them for a reading?
No, not at all.
If you are using Tarot cards as an oracle, you may be more inclined to read card meanings and spreads. But if using Tarot Cards as a tool for Psychic Ability you would be less likely to hold to any hard and fast guide lines. I’m a profession psychic and use Tarot Cards in a random way. In 25 years of professional readings I’ve never used any ‘meanings, spreads or reversals’ of tarot cards from any books.
So if you want to develop ‘Psychic Ability’ throw the books and guidelines away and let the images inspire you. But you may need to try the Rider Waite or another imaged deck.
Here’s the how-to of reading tarot cards with your psychic perception in six simple steps. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/reading-ta...
You can use this four minute video as a brief meditation on the tarot that, repeatedly viewed, will help you learn how to read tarot cards psychically. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/tarotvisio...
To tap in to it more you can go to my free psychic development pages here: http://www.psychic-junkie.com/develop-ps...
But on the other hand, if you want to use the Tarot as an oracle, a form of divination that needs no real ‘psychic ability’, then keep the books and use the meanings and spreads if you prefer.
Here is a free download demo for a great Tarot program. To keep the size of the demo manageable it contains the Rider/Waite deck, the actual program will have 10 complete decks. This Demo version of Tarot is a full working copy for 30 days. So you get 30 days to study meanings and spreads! http://www.free-tarot-download-demo.wots...
There are a couple of good documentaries about the Tarot on http://www.MyPathTV.net
Reply:No, you don't.
Reply:No. It's better if they're NOT in any sort of order. You get a better shuffle and a better reading that way.
I don' tknow if you do this, but i've found that shuffling at least 7 times each time you do a reading is helpful. It ensures that the cards are sufficiently shuffled and nothing is where it started.
Reply:No they are meant to be shuffled until tou feel that you are ready.
Reply:I don't. Just make sure you do shuffle them real well, as well as making sure you have a good mix of reversed cards too.
Reply:I do not.
Reply:i dont and ive never heard of anyone who does
Reply:No, but I do make sure they are all right side up. If a card is meant to be reversed it will happen even with all the cards upright. Peace and Love%26gt;
Reply:I never put them in order. Its better to have the cards mixed up all the time for the best results.
Reply:I think that's a personal preference. I don't do it.
Reply:If you do, then I've been doing it wrong for years and everyone I know has been too.... I just make sure they're all right-side-up; then cut the deck in half and turn one half upside-down. Then shuffle. Thats how I was taught to do it.
Reply:No you don't have to.
Reply:I never really have. I think that the order they are in when you finish shuffling, possibly the one you have them in before you shuffle, is the order they are meant to be in :)
Be well
Reply:I've never heard that claim.
Reply:i never do
but then again , i dont even use spreads
i just shuffle and deal
and read as I get them
we all work differently
just go with what works for you
