Tarot cards and ouija boards...are they evil?

so my sister says that ouija board is evil, like relating to the devil. but the tarot cards aren't evil like the ouija boards. what do tarot cards do? I need a brief explaination on how to use them. we just used a ouija board and are scared to death!!!! strange things are happening?

Although most people would believe that there is no evil in Tarot cards or Ouija boards before you decide you have to ask yourself what your beliefs and your religion says about any form of spiritualism outside of your own basic belief. For example, some Christian denominations believe that God is the only true source of spirit and everything else is worshiping a false God (which is a Ten Commandment Major No No). In other words asking an answer of any force outside of God suggests that you believe in that other force and you believe that force (from the Ouija board) can answer questions, grant favors, etc. Although many Christians stop short of saying that this is the Devil, more would say that this is a form of Pagan belief and it can weaken your faith in God. Personally, I believe the "strange things" that scare you to death are only coming from your imagination, like when you see a scary movie or read a scary book or when you camp in the dark woods. And there is no brief explanation of how to use them. Every "quick" explanation is going to be no better than the explanation you can write. There is no scientific proof that either the Ouija or Tarot can tell you what is going to happen. If it did, then nobody would get on a plane that would crash, and every stock broker in the world would be hiring psychics.

Reply:there are differnt type of tarot card and when you buy then they will tell you how they are best used.Most have more then one way to use them....and about being evil i think it matter on the person using them...

Reply:oh yeah. there evil. not the objects themselves, but they bring evil spirits. if you use them, the evil spirits will notice, see a chance to screw around with you, and mess you up real bad. they love it when you get scared, and the most terrifying thing that any human has ever felt is an evil presence, and if you continue, there gonna have a feast, because you will get haunted. stop while you can.
Reply:I have always heard they were evil but I don't believe everything I hear. I have never used either although I have been wanting to have a tarot reading done. I own tarot cards and books on the subject but would like someone who already knows how to read them do my first reading so I can see how accurate they are. I go to a psychic once a month and she is always right on but she uses a regular deck of cards so a tarot reading would be interesting. If I thought it was evil I would not be wanting to have a reading done.

They are not evil.


Even if you are Christian, because most Christian faiths say that they are not evil, and it is not a sin to use them unless you are taking them seriously.


Evil is something that man connects to an item, idea, person, etc.


Evil, therefore, is what YOU think it is.


If that means tarot cards and ouija boards are not evil to you, then they are not.


I personally think they are not.
Reply:neither are evil if you know how to use them correctly, i do use tarot cards and i do know enough to use a ouija board but i wouldnt cus its not my thing, best thing is if you dont understand then dont try it they are pretty powerfull things and if you aint got the experience then dont go there all kinds of things can happen and then you will need pro help to put them right good luck girlfriendxxxx
