I found difficult to believe that some people would pay someone to read the cards and tell you about your future. How accurate is it really? Have you have any experience and how much have you paid? Thanks!
Why do you believe in the Tarot (read the cards) is it real what they say?
As a paid reader, I am going to tell you what I tell my clients.
Tarot cards are a tool. The ability is in the reader. I am doing the work, the cards are a visualization of what it is that you are seeking. At this moment, you have ideas, and you have a path. That path changes each time your ideas change.
What I show you is what is happening right now in your life, and I can show you several outcomes based on your ideas at this time. If you change your mind, if you focus your energies in another direction, you change your path.
You come to me with questions. I show you how each of these series of events will play out. You are then left with a choice - what are you going to do. We discuss cause and effect. You choose solution.
The people who come to me come because I talk to them about their lives, I am concerned, and I offer spiritual guidance. They would not come to me and pay me for my time if they did not feel they were getting something in return.
I have been reading cards for many years, and I have a following. My payment is a donation for my time. My clients are generous in some cases, others bring me coffee and cake, others make things for me. But there is always an exchange of energy here, because it is a sign of respect. Anyone who gives you their time deserves a return.
So, you can choose to believe, or not. I think it is totally dependent on the individual reading the cards, and if you find someone who you feel is respectful of you and your personal situation, who will read honestly and be open and sincere with you, then you have found someone worthy of respect, and it is up to you if you feel it is worth paying for that kind of counsel.
Reply:If you believe in them, they can be very accurate.
Reply:I think it's very skepty to pay someone to find out answers. I do tarot but only for myself and friends. It has always been right, can't explain why though. I guess some people are desperate for answers. I would never pay to have my palm read or cards read though. Go in to a magic/guru/witch kind of store and ask them. You can find lots of things in those kind of stores.
Reply:Its only to control the way you think. if you can belive the tarrot cards then you can easily belive what any one tells you. I had sex with Pamela anderson.
Reply:i have my own tarot deck, and it's been quite faithful to me. while pregnant with my daughter, i was using it a lot, passing the time. it kept saying someone wasn't being honest with me, and it kept talking about a baby. i didn't know who'd be dishonest with me, and i assumed it was talking about my baby. then a few weeks later my man came clean and told me he'd been sleeping with his ex and he got her pregnant.
i've never paid to have other people do readings for me, i don't trust them.
Reply:I read tarot cards professionally and I have found them to be incredibly accurate. I've done literally hundreds of readings online and nobody has ever told me that my readings were wrong. In fact, most people are shocked by how the readings reflect things that are going on in their lives.
There are a few things that you need to understand about tarot cards though. First, they are not intended to predict your future. Sometimes glimpses of the future will come out in readings, but it is important to remember that the future is not set. Our actions and the actions of others can affect and change future events.
The cards are best used as a guide to what is currently going on in your life. They help you to sort out your feelings and make choices. Although I will offer guidance and direction in my readings, I don’t generally answer “yes/no” questions and I don't pretend to be a fortune teller. I believe that Tarot is a tool to help us understand ourselves, so even though I might not answer the exact question you asked, you will probably discover much more about yourself than you expected.
As for the second part of your question, about how much to pay for a reading, I think $30-$40 is reasonable. But that's only if you get a very authentic and accurate reading. I do online readings and I generally spend 3-4 hours (and a LOT of energy) on each reading. If you are just getting a 10 minute reading, you should pay a lot less. (And expect a lot less!)

Reply:I would not recommend paying for a reading, but I have read for myself dozens of times and I find the cards to be incredibly accurate. They combine aspects of prediction and psychology to help you to see possible futures open to you. You can then decide what actions to take, based on whether or not you want those futures to come to pass.
I recommend buying a cheap deck of your own to start with and a book to help you get started. If you shop used book stores, you should be able to get set up for 20 dollars or less. That's much cheaper than a reading and you can be certain of your answers. Good luck!
Reply:Yes it is accurate. If you don't want to pay someone else, buy your own.
They're about $20 and they each come with a deck. Just lay out the cards, and read for yourself what they mean.
Reply:Some who read cards are truly gifted, and some just think they can do it. For instance, my wife if gifted. She wants to know nothing about your question or situation beforehand and just interprets what comes up. People are constantly astonished, sometimes freaked-out by her accuracy.
The thing to keep in mind is that the cards don't "tell" your future. They simply shed light to your situation and the question you asked of them. They tell you of what is influencing the situation. It is up to you to make your decisions from there. It's kind of like being far enough away from the trees to see the forest.
Reply:I have had my cards read already, and it can be really amazing to what it says about you! I even read my own sometimes, and the funny thing about it is, there are times you might not like what it says, but you can shuffle them again and lay them out, and the SAME cards will come up! I have been amazed at that, and it has happened to me more than once! As far as price goes, it ranges anywhere from $10 to $40, and probably some even want more than that, but I wouldn't pay more, if you don't know the person reading the cards, they may be good, and they may only be in it for the money. Get someone that is recommended!
Reply:The cards can be very accurate, it is the readers to watch out for. I am a reader and have received readings from others and found it interesting what the cards will say that the reader doesn't know anything about. They are best for learning more about what is going on now, what had gone on before, and the possiblities that the future holds. Anyone who insists otherwise wants your money and will tell you what you want to hear not what the cards really say.
For readings, you may be able to talk a friend into giving you one for nothing. For paid readings anything over $30 is completely unreasonable. If the reader tries to sell something more because of the reading foretells something horrible, run, do not walk away from them.
Giving advice is one thing, telling you to pay them more money to create a charm to remove a "curse" that you are under is a big give away for a scam artist. Many practitioners of magic and spell work could just as easily tell you how to do it yourself cheap. I know I could, as well as any number of those that I trust who would do the same.
Reply:No,i don`t think our life is written in cards or stars. We make our own life and there`s absolutely noone that can predict it.But some people feel insecure about their life and tarot reading well kind of consoles them.
Reply:I am a reader myself. Tarot is a very accurate method of divination when it is done by an experienced reader. I would suggest you ask around %26amp; go see someone recommended by a friend that has had a reading with that person.
Reply:tarot is simply a tool to help you make difficult choices in your life, to enlighten you to more than one path nothing is in stone.
i think its ridiculous to pay so i never charge.

The many different tarot decks available will all portray symbolic imagery which must then pass through your psychic senses and, given the context of the questions asked, bring forth a tarot card meaning that significantly answers your question.
