Personal tarot cards, how to make them?

Ok, i have adobe photo shop on my computer, and I'm in the middle of making my own deck of tarot cards. the problem is i want to make them into real cards so i can use them, but don't know how to go about doing this.


if anyone has any idea on a cheap/easy way of doing this, and have them look as if they where real cards plz help me.

Use a good, heavy poster board. Use a spray adhesive-the other poster had good instructions for using it. After they have dried, use edging scissors to trim them. You can actually purchase a personal laminater at any home office store. They work wonders and you can do the cards one at a time. Just follow the instruction included. Poster board will not make them too thick to laminate. You can also do a generic design on the poster board for the backs of the cards. Did you know that most library's will laminate things for you for a small fee? Check your local one out and see what their rules are. If you don't want to use poster board, try the paper crafter's use for scrap booking. It comes in different weights and designs already on them. Just pick out a design you like for the backs and again, you can still laminate them. Heck, just check out all the fun stuff in the scrap booking isle. The place is a gold mine! Have fun.
Reply:I would suggest the best thing to do would be to get them laminated. But this would depend on what process you used to produce the artwork, so you'll need to check this out. As laminating is a heat treatment, certain types of printers can't be used. Check out your local copy shop, they'll be able to give you the information you need. And if you want the edges rounded, you can buy special nippers from most good craft shops; which will give your cards a nice professional finish.

You can buy blank tarot cards, which you can draw you own images onto.





Or even cut card to the size that you wish.

Reply:You'll need some good spray glue and a good paper cutter. After you spray glue them, make sure and let them sit for a while, with weight on top of them, so the glue takes hold. I usually do it overnight. I don't know about board you can use. I suppose any thin cardboard since you will somehow have to have your cards two sided and it won't matter how it looks. Good luck
